Hemisphere analysis

If most of your planets populate the area below the line, you re an introvert who needs privacy, seeks personal fulfillment, and may be uncomfortable in public life. 

If your chart leans to the right, so to speak, with seven or more planets on the western or right side of the circle, you re more dependent on circumstances. You need to grab the moment when it comes, and you may feel that you must bend to the demands of others in order to succeed. Most people, including the greatest of the great, have planets on both sides of the meridian. 

The Ascendant symbolizes your surface personality. The Descendant represents your approach to marriage and partnerships. The Midheaven, or M.C., depicts your ambition and public image. The imum coeli, or I.C., indicates your attitude toward home and family.

Iu Hemisphere analysis So easy that a child can do it, this method divides the chart circle in half both horizontally and vertically and counts the number of planets on each side. 

Air. Studies have shown that 2500 years ago lead pollution caused by Greek and Roman silver smelters was a significant problem (4). Based on analysis of lake sediments and Greenland s ice, it was found that lead contamination from smelters in southern and central Europe was carried throughout the northern hemisphere. As long ago as the thirteenth century, air pollution has been linked to the burning of coal (4). The main concern was the smell from the sulfur in the coal and the effects of the soot. It was not until many years later that the effects of air pollution on people s health were discovered. 

In electron spectroscopic techniques - among which XPS is the most important -analysis of the energies of electrons ejected from a surface is central. Nowadays universally employed is the concentric hemispherical analyzer (CHA). 

The temporal lobe is the inferior middle portion of the cerebral cortex of both hemispheres. The temporal lobes are involved in the analysis of visual and acoustic information and in memory formation. The hippocampus is part of the inner, medial side of the temporal lobes. 

Several studies, based on models, examined the effects of land-use change on the global carbon cycle and conclude that there is a net release of carbon due to land clearing. However, the results and conclusions of these studies are based on assumed sizes of vegetation carbon pools which are inputs to the models. For example, Melillo et al. 24) concluded that boreal and temperate deciduous forests of the northern hemisphere are net sources of atmospheric carbon. Budgets and cycles can be considered on very different spatial scales. In this book we concentrate on global, hemispheric and regional scales. The choice of a suitable scale (i.e. the size of the reservoirs), is determined by the goals of the analysis as well as by the homogeneity of the spatial distribution. For example, in carbon cycle models it is reasonable to consider the atmosphere as one reservoir (the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is fairly uniform). On the other hand, oceanic carbon content and carbon exchange processes exhibit large spatial variations and it is reasonable to separate the... 

Many clinicians are concerned about the use of DC for dominant hemisphere strokes, but Kastrau et al. found in a retrospective review of 14 dominant hemisphere stroke patients with aphasia that significant improvement (13/14 patients) was achieved in these preselected younger patients who underwent early poststroke DC. In contrast, a retrospective study by Foerch et al. found that older patients fared quite poorly in terms of functional outcome and quality of life, especially in those with severe neurological deficit at admission. These results were replicated by Curry et al., who also found that younger patients also were more likely to require reoperations for continued herniation. Uhl et al. ° found no prognostic value to the side of infarction in their analysis of 188 patients who underwent DC for massive hemispheric infarction. 

For Class D hazards, the company has defined the evaluation case event to be 8 x 106 Btu (8.4 x 106 kj) energy release as a hemispherical ground level explosion, unless a comprehensive analysis defines a lesser event as the evaluation case. For a VCE evaluation, this is further defined as the release and vaporization of 10,000 lb. (4,500 kg) of ordinary hydrocarbons, or the release and vaporization of 6,600 lb. (3,000 kg) of fast-burning materials [fundamental burning velocity >24 in/sec (>60 cm/sec)] within 5 minutes, when the largest connection to a tank or vessel is broken. [On a TNT basis, this is equivalent to a surface burst of approximately 2 tons (1,800 kg) TNT, calculated on the basis of 4% efficiency for ordinary hydrocarbons or 6.6% efficiency for fast-burning materials.]...
