Fig. 4a shows a characteristic narrow banded signal (860 kHz center frequency) from a flat steel surface (reference signal). A steel block was milled in a way that the distance of the upper and graved surface varied from 0 to about 1300 microns (Fig. 5). Moving the probe along the edge (see Fig. 5) about 30 signals have been acquired equidistantly (all 4 mm). Fig. 4b and 4c show two characteristic signals (position 6 and 12). The 30 measured signals have been preprocessed and deconvolved. Fig. 6 shows the evident correlation between measured TOF difference and signal position (depth of milled grave).

There is evidently a grave problem here. The wavefiinction proposed above for the lithium atom contains all of the particle coordinates, adheres to the boundary conditions (it decays to zero when the particles are removed to infinity) and obeys the restrictions = P23 that govern the behaviour of the...

The key element of life-cycle design is Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA). LCA is generally envisioned as a process to evaluate the environmental burdens associated with the cradle-to-grave life cycle of a produc t, process, or ac tivity. A produc t s life cycle can be roughly described in terms of the following stages ... 

Liability reduction. Facilities are responsible for their wastes from cradle-to-grave. By eliminating or reducing waste generation, future liabilities can also be decreased. Additionally, the need for expensive pollution liability insurance requirements may be abated. 

In the 90"s of the last century members of the Archeological and Ethnographical Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences have excavated on the plateau Ukok in the Republic Mountain Altai several frozen graves. 

Unlike the famous royal Pazyryk Kurgans, the ancient burials on the Ukok Plateau have been untouched by grave robbers they were discovered in their original state. Among numerous unique finds, the most remarkable ones are well-preserved human hair and nails, tails and manes of the horses buried together with the people and also the ash from the censer. 

The goal of present investigation is the continuation of the researches on the determination of elemental content in the specimens from Pazyryk graves and the comparison of the elemental interrelations between the all samples. In addition, it was performed the determination of elemental concentrations in hair and nails of contemporary people from Ukok Plateau.

Section 34 of EPA 90 imposes a cradle to grave philosophy for waste management. This places a duty of care upon anyone who has control of controlled waste, i.e. importers, producers. 

One of the recognized barriers to the successful application of inherently safer technology is the lack of appreciation of the benefits that can be derived from viewing a process broadly rather than narrowly.
