Grammatical construction

The author must ensure that each of these readers (and others) can find and extract the information they need with the least possible effort. We must also bear in mind that the readers may not be native English speakers, so the grammatical construction and vocabulary should be kept as simple as possible. 

Rewrite the following sentences so that each one is clear and coherent. When appropriate, rephrase parts of sentences so that parallel ideas are expressed in similar grammatical constructions. 

Semantic elaboration That part of a compiler s front end that checks semantic rules and produces an intermediate representation for the program. Parallelism, or parallel construction, is the use of words or groups of words of equal grammatical rank. Equal grammatical rank means that words are connected only to words, phrases only to phrases, subordinate clauses only to other subordinate clauses, and sentences only to other sentences. Establish parallel construction by using coordinating conjunctions, correlative conjunctions, and correlative constructions. 

Absolute constructions are words, phrases, or clauses that are grammatically unconnected with the rest of the sentence in which they appear. They are sometimes called sentence modifiers because they qualify the rest of the sentence. They may occur anywhere in the sentence, and they are always set off by commas. They are not dangling modifiers. 

Several pathway combinations occur so frequently that they have been given a name. Most were introduced and discussed in Chapter 4 and are grouped here as a summary. These phrases in your mechanistic vocabulary are the next step toward your eventual construction of a grammatically correct mechanistic sentence. ...

This subdiscipline, a basis for scientific research, clinical studies, sociological explorations, or scholarly pursuits, focuses on how speech is physically produced. Structural linguistics involves acoustic features, the comparison of different languages, grammatical concepts, sentence construction, vocabulary function, and other analytical aspects of language. 

Other grammatical rules of construction m be used to interpret words within a phrase of a statute or phrases within a statute.
