Fulfillment functions

Of the thousands of different enzymes present in the human body, those that fulfill functions indispensable to cell vitality are present throughout the body tissues. Other enzymes or isozymes are expressed only in specific cell types, during certain periods of development, or in response to specific physiologic or pathophysiologic changes. Analysis of the presence and distribution of enzymes and isozymes— whose expression is normally tissue-, time-, or circumstance-specific—often aids diagnosis. 

A radical formed upon homolytic cleavage of a functional initiator carries the corresponding function. Since upon initiation the primary radical adds to a monomer, this functional group remains attached to the formed polymer molecule. However, this functionalization procedure is far from being adequate for the following reasons — Functionalization at only one chain end requires that termination occurs exclusively by disproportionation (and not by recombination) and that transfer reaction of the radical to monomer and to solvent molecules can be disregarded. If the first condition is not fulfilled, functionalization at both chain ends can result. If the second condition is not valid, only a fraction of the formed macromolecules is functionalized, namely those arising from primary radicals. 

Fluorous synthesis has certain analogies to solid-phase synthesis the fluorous label and the fluorous phase fulfil functions similar to those of the linker and the solid phase in that both provide a means of removing the attached compound from the reaction mixture (one because of its high affinity to the fluorous phase, the other via a covalent link to the solid support).The similarity, however, also extends to the necessity of additional synthesis steps involved in the attachment to and cleavage from the linker. Depending on the application that is studied, the value and impact terms in the eco-efficiency definition can be different entities. The created value can be, e.g., a provided supply, a fulfilled function, a satisfied demand, or an added value. The environmental impact can be some measure of a specific type of impact (e.g., the carbon footprint, the use of water or some other resource, or the emission of toxic compotmds to air) or an aggregated measure of environmental impact (see entries on Environmental Impact and Environmental Impact Assessment). 

Abstract Function Type is a typecast for a function Actuator Type, Function Type and Sensor Type). It is instantiated to fulfill functional safety or non-safety requirements in the FN. The purpose of the usage of an Abstract Function Type cannot be foreseen. The instantiation becomes a safety related element by the context of application, but not the type. Therefore the Abstract Function Type is not a Safety Related Element.

The failure of a concrete structure is of course not confined to catastrophic collapse. The requiiements for scientific software development have continually increased. Besides the algorithmic core functionality, nowadays there is often a demand for a graphical user interface. In addition to the increasing importance of this visible component, which may still be seen as just an add-on, the software development itself has to fulfill stronger demands on software engineering requirements, such as maintainability and recoverability. 

Dynamic FAB is an interface between a liquid chromatograph and a mass spectrometer and is, at the same time, an ion source. As an inlet/ion source, this technique fulfils a similar function to plasmaspray and electrospray, both of which are combined inlet/ion sources. 

An existence theorem to the equilibrium problem of the plate is proved. A complete system of equations and inequalities fulfilled at the crack faces is found. The solvability of the optimal control problem with a cost functional characterizing an opening of the crack is established.
