Forward referencing

The vendor shall indicate on the preceding parts lists which parts are recommended spares for start-up and normal maintenance as referenced in 6.2.3, Item f (Table 6-1). The vendor shall forward the lists to the purchaser promptly after receipt of the reviewed drawings and in time to permit order and delivery of the parts before field start-up. The transmittal letter shall be identified with the data specified in 6.1.2.

Level 2 is the doing. After reading the Prelude and Level 1, you should be able to go to any part of Levels 2 or 3 according to personal tastes or interests. Go straight to the formulae, tabulated by geometry, cross-referenced by equation numbers not only to Level l s introduction but also to Level 2 s explanatory essays and to the derivations of Level 3. The idea is to work outward from these tables—back to Level 1 or forward to Levels 2 and 3. 

Requirements traceability should also ease inspections by facilitating the rapid location of any specification-to-test information requested. For many organizations, this forward tracking of requirements can be quite cumbersome if they rely solely on reverse tracking offered by test documentation referencing requirements and specifications. 

The IQ is the responsibility of the pharmaceutical organization. The IQ shall define methodical inspections that verify the hardware and software installation against the design. Each inspection is conducted in accordance with a detailed inspection method and the outcome verified against unambiguous acceptance criteria. The results of the inspection must be recorded on a test result sheet, referenced to or contained within the IQ protocol. An inspection will be deemed to have passed if aU the acceptance criteria set forward have been satisfied. Table 31.15 provides the typical contents of an IQ.

The goal of creating a MMW spectrometer capable of routine analytical measurement that has lured the authors is now well within reach. The work of ourselves and the many others referenced here and elsewhere has demonstrated the potential of the technique for analysis. Advances in modem computation and electronic engineering coupled with the development of the theoretical basis for the measurements have drawn forward the earlier studies. There is now a sound foundation for the design of compact, automatic MMW spectrometers and the analytical methods to go with them, that are affordable and practically useful to the practising analytical scientist. 

An advantage common to all but (D) of the methods described above is that the incident pulse waveform Vo(t) needed to evaluate Vo(iw) can be obtained quite simply from the reflection Ri(t) for the empty cell, rather than by direct observation at a time 2fi/c earlier. This simplifies the problem of consistent time referencing discussed in section V, and also eliminates the problem of correcting for differences in sampling probe response to forward and return waves. 

Each time evidence is referenced as a solution to the argument, it is being asserted that the evidence put forward is sufficient to support the claim. Figure 9 shows an asserted solution to a safety claim. The assurance of the solution depends upon the confidence that the evidence is appropriate to support the claim, and the evidence is trustworthy.
