Food packaging, cups and dairy containers from thermoformed sheets, vacuum-formed packages... 

Once the viral RNA has been translated and the large polyprotein has been processed to form individual viral proteins, new viral particles begin to form. Packaged in each virion are two copies of fully unspliced viral RNA. To be packaged into the virion, the RNA dimerizes in a highly orchestrated process involving a self-complementary stem-loop interaction. Such HIV-specific RNA events may prove useful for fumre therapeutic intervention, although they have so far received relatively little attention by medicinal chemists.

Forming packages composed of wound strands normally are not supplied to industrial users wilhuul further processing. Strands are twisted and plied before being woven into fabric. A plied yarn, for example, is coated with a latex binder before being used as a tire-cord reinforcemenl.

Stewart and Tucker assert that hydrolysis is affected by pH, buffer salts, ionic strength, solvent, and other additives such as complexing agents, surfactants, and excipients, and each of these factors is discussed in some detail. Waterman et al. (31) provide a comprehensive treatment of hydrolysis as it relates to pharmaceuticals, with thorough discussions of mechanisms, formulation considerations, pH, ionic strength, buffers, solid-state considerations, hydrolysis of lyophiles, liquid dosage forms, packaging, etc.

Figure 17 shows the SRL 4.5-ton Californium Shipping Cask for shipment of Type B quantities in Special Form packaging (13). 

This cask is identified as USA/6642/B. It has USNRC Certificate of Compliance 6642 and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Certificate of Competent Authority USDOT USA/6642/B. The cask is a 1.52 m diameter steel sphere filled with WEP as the neutron shield. It weighs 4332 kg and can carry 46 Ci (85 mg) 252cf in Special Form packaging.
