If every natural process could be represented by a dynamical equation, the substitution of — t for t in the equation (t being time) would lead to an equation describing the exactly reversed process. If we could represent the actual process on a cinematograph film, the reversed process would be seen when the film was put backwards through the machine, and events like those just described would unfold themselves to our view. That such phenomena do not appear in nature is a consequence of the irreversibility of every process.

Two questions often prove major stumbling blocks for film and video students, as well as for filmmakers who have never written a narrative script. What, specifically, do I write about How, specifically, do I write about it In screenwriting, general ideas are of little or no use when you sit down at a desk to write, and it is often difficult for those who are not "natural" writers (in the way one may be a "natural" cinematographer or director) to come up with fruitful story ideas. At the end of World War I Agfa made strenuous efforts to enter the American market for photographic products. Although its total sales of cinematographic films had reached 200 million meters by 1922, the rapid expansion could not be maintained due to strong price competition from Kodak. Despite the founding of Agfa Products Inc. in 1923, the company s share of the 100 million American market amounted to less than one percent. 

The motion picture and video industries provide career options such as cinematographers, camera operators, and gaffers who work together to capture the scripted scenes on film and perform the actual shooting. Formal training can be an asset to workers...
