Flexible plastics and rubbers can, as a matter of fact, only be treated with rubber-elastic lacquers, mainly on the basis of polyurethane, which, moreover, should be resistant to oxidation, oils, fuel and UV light. In the case of such containers, the specific cost of material is quite negligible because of its small volume. As an additional requirement, a project for accelerated testing should be proposed in relation to the design of the material s structure and composition. Such problems are often solved by a design of boxes made of fibre-reinforced resin concrete or other highly sophisticated composite. 

H V have developed nonwovens for fibre-reinforced, resin-saturated label composite materials. These are designed to work in difficult environments, for example, where there is high humidity and temperature, and in the presence of aggressive environments of chemicals. The products can be configured to withstand very high temperatures [13]. 

The emphasis on the development of lightweight car bodies can be achieved in steel by reducing the panel thicknesses used or by using specifically lighter materials such as aluminium, magnesium or fibre-reinforced resins.
