Evidence of conformity

The standard requires that in determining the amount and nature of receiving inspection, consideration should be given to the control exercised at the subcontractor s premises and recorded evidence of conformance provided. The supplementary requirements require the supplier to use one or more of four prescribed methods unless waived bp the customer. [Pg.382]

Within your procedures you need to provide a means of identifying which items have been subject to inspection at the subcontractor s premises and the receipt inspection action to be taken depending on the level of that inspection. In one case, the product may have been accepted by your representative on the subcontractor s premises. In another case, a product from the same batch may have been accepted by your representative but not the one that has been delivered. Alternatively your representative may have only performed a quality audit to gain a level of confidence. You need to specify the inspection to be carried out in all such cases. The standard emphasizes that consideration should also be given to the recorded evidence provided. Even if someone has performed inspection at the subcontractor s premises, if there is no evidence of conformance the inspections are of little value. The fact that an inspection was carried out is insufficient. There has to be a statement of what was checked and what results were obtained and a decision as to whether conformance has been achieved. Without such evidence you may need to repeat some of the inspections carried out on the subcontractor s premises. [Pg.382]

The standard requires that the supplier carries out final inspection and testing in accordance with the quality plan and/or documented procedures to complete the evidence of conformance of the finished product to the specified requirements. [Pg.386]

Other steels not covered by these specifications may be used provided that the chemical and physical properties conform to the limits guaranteed by the steel manufacturer. Structural steel shapes having specified minimum yield less than 33,000 psi shall not be used. Certified mill test report or certified reports of tests made in accordance with ASTM A6 and the governing specification shall constitute evidence of conformity with one of the specifications listed. [Pg.511]

Welding Electrodes. Welding electrodes shall conform to applicable AWS and ASTM specifications or other governing codes. Newly developed welding processes shall use welding electrodes conforming to applicable AWS or other governing publications. Certified reports shall constitute sufficient evidence of conformity with the specifications. [Pg.511]

Nonferrous Materials. Nonferrous materials must conform to appropriate governing codes. Certified reports shall constitute sufficient evidence of conformity with such codes. [Pg.511]

Assembling technical documentation that provides evidence of conformity with the essential requirements is a fundamental part of all conformity assessment procedures. The appropriate essential requirements annex may be used as a checklist, against which documents demonstrating the adopted solutions may be identified... [Pg.199]

The presence of two general structures (A", C") and B" which differ in the orientation of the their terminal residues should not by itself be taken as evidence of conformational flexibility at the terminal linkage as was suggested in a previous study (40). It can arise simply because our data are not of sufficient quality to uniquely define the orientation of the terminal residues. [Pg.259]

Records are considered as a special type of documents and shall therefore be identifiable and properly controlled. The system for their storage, protection, retrieval, and for their retention time and disposition is documented in written procedures. The laboratory records provide objective evidence of conformity to requirements and of the effective operation of the QMS. [Pg.49]

Process control is predominantly based on documented evidence of conformance to SOP s, which generally include a fixed process time and laboratory based testing of in-process materials. [Pg.498]

Evidence of conformity with the acceptance criteria are maintained. Records indicate the person (s) authorizing release of the product (see 4.2.4). [Pg.109]

Quality records are established and maintained to provide evidence of conformity to requirements and of the effective operation of the quality management system. [Pg.176]

The results of verification, evaluation, and tests are recorded and documented to provide evidence of conformance of the actual design to the planned design. This allows for comparison of the design input against the design output. [Pg.336]

The monitoring and measurement activities and devices needed to provide evidence of conformity are dehned to ensure consistency with the requirements. [Pg.372]

Conformational disorder is a common phenomenon in crystal structure analyses of metal complexes of chelate ligands. For instance, en (ethane-1,2-diamine) rings can adopt two conformations, X or 5 (see Fig. 7.1 and 7.2), and frequently both, or a smeared average of the two, are observed. If there is more than one such ring disordered, then it is often not possible to determine what overall conformations are adopted. For instance, in the case of [Fe(tra s-diammac)]3+ (Fig. 7.6), there are two five-membered chelate rings, trans to one another, and in the crystal structures, both show evidence of conformational disorder1182,207,217]. Thus, it is... [Pg.85]

Derivatives of466 carrying alkyl substituents in each ring have also been studied (820MR242). For example, the preferred conformation of the 1,8-dimethyi derivatives are shown in 492-495. One isomer adopts the cis-conformation (495) and the rest adopt the trans-conformation, with 493 providing evidence of conformational distortion of the ring system. [Pg.265]

The fact that 5h,h6 did not equal Vhs.hg indicated that it might be possible to determine the conformation of the side-chain in L-ascor-bic acid. Furthermore, the NMR data gave no evidence of conformation change between pH 2 and 7, in contrast with x-ray data (3). The conformation previously assigned (21) to the C5-C6 bond of I in water is not consistent with the 600-MHz H NMR data. [Pg.141]

The X-ray crystal structure database led us to believe that peptide bonds adopt either the cis or trans conformation in native proteins [22,128]. However, NMR spectroscopy [143], and in a few cases, crystal structure analysis [144], provide encouraging experimental evidence of conformational peptide bond polymorphism of folded proteins. Furthermore, conformational changes in response to ligand binding, crystallization conditions and point mutations at remote sites are frequent. Consequently, the three-dimensional protein structure database contains homologous proteins that have different native conformations for a critical prolyl bond [12]. [Pg.183]

Amphiphiles with two chains per head group can form vesicles, not simple micelles, and we used our probes to determine whether they had greater conformational order and could direct functionalizations more selectively [69]. We found that spherical vesicles showed evidence of conformational disorder comparable to that we had seen in micelles, but that flat vesicles showed considerable order, with attack largely at the expected dis-... [Pg.175]
