Literature Recent additions to the literature on the principles and practice of inhibition include books concerned with the subject as a whole, and reports of conferences and papers, or reports concentrating on particular aspects of the subject. Books include the volume by the late Professor I. L. Rozenfel d and collected data in the form of references, patents etc. from various sources Conferences include the recent quinquennial events at the University of Ferrara S, each providing substantial contributions to all aspects of corrosion inhibition. The uses of molybdates as inhibitors have been reviewed by Vukasovich and Farr in a paper with 221 references and test methods for inhibitors in a report from the European Federation of Corrosion with 49 references .

There are six parties directly involved in ICH as well as observers and the International Federation of Pharmaceufical Manufacturers Association (IFPMA see Table 25.1). The six parties are the founder members of ICH, and fhey represenf fhe regulatory bodies and the research-based industry in the European Union (EU), Japan, and the United States in the EU, the European Federation of Pharmaceufical Indusfries and Associations (EFPIA) and the Ministry of Healfh, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW) in Japan, the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) and in the United States, the FDA and the Pharmaceutical Researchers and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).

Applicants are free to solicit advice from individual Member States and according to various surveys conducted by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations, they often do. John Griffin was the director of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry from 1984 to 1994. During this time he was a member of the Executive Board of the European Federation of the Pharmaceutical Industries Associations and IFPMA.
