Non-conformity means that a requirement is not fulfilled. Non-conformities can occur related to any of the quality characteristics and its related quality objectives. Non-conformities may refer to defects, mistakes and errors in processes, violations and deviations of regulations or procedures, problems with equipment, customer complaints, etcetera. Near misses, incidents and adverse events in clinical or occupational health context can be treated as non-conformities concerning patient or employee safety. 

First, we want to offer G335SF in combination with STRUCTURIX SILVERFIX as a viable solution to customers who want to upgrade their existing equipment (installed base processors) in order to decrease the silver content of their rinsing water. 

Most manufacturing equipment should be made of stainless steel. The liming tanks, however, can be either concrete or wood (qv). Properly lined iron tanks are often used for the washing and acidification, ie, souring, operations. Most gelatin plants achieve efficient processes by operating around the clock. The product is tested in batches and again as blends to confirm conformance to customer specifications.

Applications Research. Specialty chemical producers devote a larger share of their time and costs to appHcations research than do producers of most commodity chemicals. As noted earHer, the most successful specialty chemical producers have been those companies that ate able to respond quickly to customer needs and problems under the conditions found in the customer s plant. This entails having, at the specialty chemical plant, equipment and procedural knowledge which closely approximate those found among customers. Tests can then be mn and a solution to the problem or need may result. If successful, even in part, it can be brought to the customers and tried there. In practice, of course, each customer s plant has some variables which make a single answer or product quite unlikely. Fortunately, slight modifications by the suppHer will often solve the next customer s problem. 

It is also a guideline to ensure product quahty through the suitabihty of the manufacturing equipment, air and water quahty, sanitation, insect and rodent control, and housekeeping. The FDA periodically sends inspectors to audit chemical companies who manufacture bulk pharmaceutical chemicals or inactive ingredients called excipients to ensure conformance. Whereas GMP conformance ensures that the product meets pharmaceutical quahty standards, it does not ensure conformance to customer-service-related requirements. 

Some other bearing materials find extensive use for which production volume is less well defined. EiHed plastics such as nylon, acetal resin, PTEE, and phenoHcs are formed and molded into bearings in a wide variety of mechanical stmctures. Tin, lead, and bronze alloys are used for oil-film bearings in heavy industrial and power generating equipment, frequently in custom bearings manufactured directly as machine components. 

Another indication of the growth of the powder coating market is reflected in the membership statistics of the Powder Coating Institute (PCI).
