Entering entities

The entity which comprises all others is a world (a CAD data base). From outside the world the user can delete the whole world completely or he may interrogate attributes of the world, but he cannot address individual entities inside the world. In order to do this, he will have to enter the world. Now he can operate on the entities in the world but not on entities which are enclosed in the scope of the entities which he can now reach. He may, however, continue to enter entities (those which have a scope) in order to go into more details. At any state, he can address entities in his actual environment, that are all entities in those scopes which he has entered and not yet left.

Creating a new entity implies that this entity becomes embedded in the scope of the most recently entered entity. The creation is possible only if that scope allows for entities of the requested type. Creating an entity will transform a valid CAD model into another valid CAD model. 

In addition, you must send a copy of the report to the State in which the facility is located ( State" refers to State of the U.S., the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, and any other territory or possession over which the U.S. has jurisdiction). Refer to Appendix Q for the appropriate State address for your submission. If your facility is located on Indian land, send a copy to the Chief Executive Officer of the applicable Indian tribe. Some tribes have entered into a cooperative agreement with the State, in which this case. Form R submissions should be sent to the entity designated In the cooperative agreement. 

You must provide information on your parent company. For purposes of Form R. a parent company is defined as the highest level company, located in the United States, that directly owns at least 50 percent of the voting stock of your company. If yourfacility is owned by a foreign entity, enter not applicable, NA, in this space. Corporate names should be treated as parent company names for companies with multiple facility sites. For example, the Bestchem Corporation is not owned or controlled by any other corporation but has sites throughout the country whose names begin with Bestchem. In this case, Bestchem Corporation would be listed as the parent company. 

Enterthe name of the corporation or other business entity that is your ultimate US parent company. If your facility has no parent company, enter not applicable, NA. 

The electricity mdustiy is m the midst of a transition from a vertically integrated and regulated monopoly to an entity in a competitive market where retail customers choose the suppliers of their electricity. The change started in 1978, when the Public Utility Regulatoiy Act (PURPA) made it possible for nonutility power generators to enter the wholesale market. 

With the opening of the transmission network to all resource suppliers, many marketing entities entered the game in the mid-1990s. Many of these marketers are subsidiaries of already established gas suppliers. Some have been created solely for the electric industry. Still others have been formed from the utilities themselves. All of these etitities arc competition-motivated. Facility planning and reliability issues, while important to their business, are left to other organizations.

Note that, in the case of biological products, this is the name of the legal entity or person to whom the license will be issued. The name, street address and telephone number of the legal person or entity authorized to represent a non-U.S. applicant should be entered in the indicated area. Only one person should sign the form.
