A clinically useful indirect estimate of Mvo2 is the double product (DP), which is HR multiplied by systolic blood pressure (SBP) (DP = HR xSBP). The DP does not consider changes in contractility (an independent variable), and because only changes in pressure are considered, volume loading of the left ventricle and increased MVo2 related to ventricular dilation are underestimated. 

The contribution of the polarization operator is logarithmically enhanced due to the logarithmic asymptotics of the polarization operator. Membrane technology for natural-gas separations is gaining broad acceptance and a number of major membrane-separation plants have come into operation in recent years. More significant is the size of the resource required and the demand on utilities (Table 13.2). In this naive conceptual analysis assume initially that all the timber grown will go to pulp. In many countries perhaps only a third of the wood goes to pulp so the land area should be increased by a factor of three. Finally, it would be unrealistic to assume that all land in the vicinity of the mill would be dedicated to forest. As mills get larger wood has to be hauled from further away resulting in much higher transport costs. Doubling production with second line may be...

Heart rate Heart rate eontributes to time-integrated fiber tension because at fast heart rates, fibers spend more time at systolic tension levels. Furthermore, at faster rates, diastole is abbreviated, and diastole eonstitutes the time available for coronary flow (coronary blood flow is low or nil during systole). Systolic blood pressure and heart rate may be multiplied to yield the double product, a measure of eardiae work and therefore of oxygen requirement. In patients with atherosclerotic angina, effective drugs reduce the double product.

Because of its simple design, employing only two fixed bed reactors, this process is offered for retrofitting H2SO4 or HE alkylation units as well as olefin polymerization and dimerization plants with minor modifications. ExSact is especially suitable to revamp olefin dimerization mills with minimal capital investment, offering a 10-12 higher MON than the dimerization product with a double production capacity (255). ExSact has been chosen to revamp a 3500 bbl/day olefin oligomerization plant in Europe.
