Hypothesis (7) The diffusion of innovative solutions can be accelerated into a comparative risk evaluation between manufacturers and users by agreement on simple and transparent methods. [Pg.104]

In areas where the prodnct nsers and their manufacturers have agreed on simple and transparent methods and indicators for comparative evaluation of the environmental and health risks emanating from snbstances, the diffusion of innovative solutions (relatively small level) has been accelerated. [Pg.104]

This Outlook has tried to evaluate supported IL materials with respect to their prospect for future commercial appHcations. Using the lead-questions of the diffusion of innovation methodology, it appears quite likely that SILP and SCILL technologies will develop into one of the preferred ways for the industrial application of ILs in the future. [Pg.465]

The thesis follows the traditional structure of analysis analysis of existence of lead markets, analysis of contingency of lead markets and analysis of efficiency of lead markets. The hypothesis of existence is that there are lead markets for a broad range of innovations. The hypothesis of contingency is that several systematic nation-specific demand and market conditions can be identified that facilitate the international diffusion of innovation designs domestically preferred. These are combined in five lead market factors. The hypothesis of efficiency is that multinational firms can promote the global success of their innovations in concentrating the innovation development activities in the respective lead markets. [Pg.5]
