Hawk et al. note that the goals of chemoprevention are to reduce cancer risk and improve quality of life. Studies of hereditary cohorts may hold promise for the chemoprevention of CRC in the sporadic setting as well. King et al. ° stress the importance of chemoprevention as part of treatment strategies still in development for FAP patients, in order to improve the management of extracolonic neoplasms and desmoid tumors. 

The acute clinical onset in a patient under anticoagulation supports the diagnosis of a rectus sheath hematoma. MR imaging may be useful in differentiation of chronic rectus sheath hematomas from anterior abdominal wall masses such as lipoma, hemangioma, neurofibroma, desmoid tumor, soft-tissue sarcoma, lymphoma, or metastatic lesions. Although bleeding into neoplasm may occur, hyperintense regions are rarely observed in tumors [66]. 

In a 49-year-old man hyperthermic isolated limb perfusion with TNF alfa and melphalan was performed for an unresectable desmoid tumor with calf extension. Local toxicity resulted in extensive edema and common peroneal nerve impairment, including paresis, which was still severe 10 months later.

Nervous system Peripheral nerve damage has been reported in 1-48% of patients, including a 49-year-old man in whom hyperthermic isolated limb perfusion was performed with TNF-alpha and melphalan for an irresectable desmoid tumor and caused extensive local edema and a common peroneal nerve palsy, which was still severe 10 months later [87 ]. In such cases emergency compartmental pressure measurement may guide the need for fasciotomy...
