Demographic data tables

The randomization scheme assigns a therapy randomly across a study population based on various stratification factors such as site, blocking factor, and perhaps subject demographics. There is no actual patient assignment information in this data table. Here is an example of a randomization scheme with a block size of four and a treatment ratio of 2 2 ... 

Twenty pediatric type I diabetic patients as described above completed the study according to the protocol, 19 subjects were evaluable for PK evaluation of regular human insulin treatment. The demographic data are depicted in Table 24.

This group collectively represents 40% of the world population, 25% of the global land area and nearly 30% of the total GDP. BRIGS 2010 demographic data is provided in Table 1. 

PROC REPORT is also capable of producing a summary of data with little effort. Here are the demographics table annotated SAS program, the annotated output and notes for the program, and a follow-up discussion of PROC REPORT S capabilities. 

A similar table may be presented for demographic characteristics. Specific characteristics that are important can vary from study to study, but typical ones include gender, age, race, and baseline data of relevance, e.g., weight, blood pressure, and heart rate. Information concerning the use of concomitant or concurrent medications and evaluations of subject adherence or compliance with the trial s treatment schedule is also typically presented. 

In multiple tables with similar data, present the data in the same order as much as possible. If the first column always has the active drug and the second column the placebo or comparative agent, then keep this order throughout the tables. In the analysis of data by demographic or disease subgroup, it is helpful to keep the subgroup of concern (i.e., women, the elderly, racial subgroups, impaired renal function) in the same column in each table. 

Several demographic variables were collected however, weight, ethnic origin, and a-l-acid glycoprotein (AAG) were considered the more likely covariates to influence pharmacokinetics, based on previous data (15). A summary of demographics in actual data obtained for each study is given in Table 16.2. 

Starting in the fall of 2009, when KU opened its Abu Dhabi campus, we began gathering a wide variety of data on student backgroimd and performance in a traditional, lecture-centered implementation of coirrses. Through the National Center for Health Statistics, data are available on the prevalence of numerous disease conditions in various demographic subgroups of the population of the United States. In Table IX, the prevalences of some of the diseases affecting these major organ systems are shown by age subgroups. 

Universities and Schools. Universities require a secure computer system to store student demographic and health data student grades and course work computer access information personnel information, including salaries research data and Internet use. Most students have their own personal computers and are able to access some areas of the university s computer system. Their digital signatures must be linked to a table that reflects their limited access. Faculty members, both on and off campus, are able to access the university s system, and their access also has limits. Table 1 summarizes the PbB, other blood chemistry, medical, electrophysiological, psychometric, behavioural and demographic measures collected from participating children and parents. These measures were chosen to provide convergent information from several different perspectives to elaborate more clearly the subtle and complex effects of asymptomatic lead exposure on CNS development. Several tests were selected on the basis of guidelines later adopted at an International Symposium on Neurobehavioral Methodology in Pediatric Lead Research (Cincinnati OH September 1981). These guidelines included (1) use of standardized, age-normed tests with documented validity and reliability when available (2) use of experimental measures to evaluate areas of function for which standardized measures are not available, and (3) use of instruments with cross-cultural comparison data.
