As used here, project information spans all aspects of data collection, analysis, and storage throughout R D. The information ranges from screening data at the basic research level to adverse experience reports in Regulatory Affairs. The requirements at this level include the integration of data of various types (i.e., chemical, biological, text. 

At this level, we apply criteria mainly derived from theory on organisational learning. To minimise extraneous influences, the methods for data collection, analysis and distribution of information must be easily understood and acceptable to the involved parties. It is important, for example, in the reporting of human errors, that the employees have trust in the system and that the reports are not used to punish the individual. The methods should also promote involvement of management and employees, and the development of a shared understanding on SHE goals, accident causes and conditions for efficient prevention. 

The objective of this notebook was the collection, analysis, and presentation of nonelectronic component failure data and the presentation of analytical methods that form the state-of-the-art in nonelectronic reliability analysis. This report replaces the former Nonelectronic Reliability Notebook (RADC-TR-75-22). 

A well-designed data management system typically will focus on the primary objective to facilitate the collection and cleaning of clinical data. To achieve the aforementioned aims, research was performed in three main phases (1) background research and preparation of siuveys, (2) data collection, and (3) data analysis and reporting. 

How to identify subjects with each AE of special interest. This includes specifying the medical definition of the AE of special interest (preferably, an established definition in the medical literature). Identification of subjects may include any of the following utilization of a search strategy in the Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) or other dictionary utilization of a special case report form and/or adjudication. For example, it may be possible to utilize a standardized MedDRA query (SMQ) (see the MedDRA site). If a special case report form is developed, details of special collection may be included in the PSAP section on "Data Collection Plan and Standardization Approaches." If the AE of special interest definition will include event adjudication, detailed information on the adjudication process or a link to more detailed information should be included. It is recommended to have a common definition for an AE of special interest for the entire development program, in order to facilitate data integration, analysis, and interpretation. 

Automated data analysis for the DMA was achieved by interfacing the instrument to a microcomputer for data acquisition. Analysis and reporting regarding data analysis and reporting, mobile research is not more rapid compared to other data collection methods. However, real-time data make it possible to rapidly get intermediate results.
