Consolidation guide

Definitive effort-hour estimating data is used to develop specific detail estimates. Composite effort-hour data is presented as a guide for quick estimating methods. All material quantities have been consolidated into an average for a given amount of material and do not include any specialty items. All effort-hour units and material quantities are based on a typical installation, and each material type should be reviewed carefully for various differences. 

Income Statement An income statement shows the revenue and the corresponding expenses for the year and serves as a guide for how the company may do in the future. Often income statements may show how the company performed for the last two or three years. Table 9-4 is an example of a consolidated income statement. 

Our objectives in writing this review were to provide a brief introduction to simple methods that are useful for analyses of reaction schemes and to provide several case studies that illustrate different scenarios for the applications of these analysis methods. Finally, we stress that analyses of reaction schemes are not used to prove reaction schemes. Instead, these analyses may be used first to test the feasibility of reaction schemes that have been formulated from chemical experience, intuition, and theoretical methods these analyses may then be used to consolidate and extrapolate the information contained in kinetic models of reaction schemes to help guide the search for better catalytic materials and/or more favorable reaction conditions.

Fiber Fractography and Morphology. Fibers broken in tensile tests were examined in the scanning electron microscope to gain a better understanding of their failure mechanism. Such insight can be used to guide the development of consolidants that prevent such failures. 

The design of these analogs was guided by preliminary nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) data on the bioactive (tubulin-bound) conformation of epothilones, which indicated that the C16/C17 double bond and the aromatic C18-N bond were present in a transoid arrangement (corresponding to a 180° C16-C17-C18-N22 torsion angle). (These data have subsequently been consolidated and have recently appeared in the literature ). 

The so-called shear cells are used for direct shear tests, where the powder specimen is consolidated in the vertical direction and then sheared in a horizontal plane. There are basically two types of shear cells in use today the Jenike shear cell (sometimes referred to more generally as the translational shear box) and the annular (or ring) shear cell (the rotational shear box). As the equipment needed is highly specialized (and hence outside the scope of this Guide) and as manufacturers instructions are usually adequate, the following contains only an outline description of both the hardware and the test procedures. 

In many situations, however, sufficient information for adequate network design may simply not be available initially, and periodic reinterpretation of groundwater flow and hydrogeochemical regimes will be required to guide network improvement and consolidation. Figure 5.1.7 shows some examples of commonly found situations where water quality monitoring wells do not always fulfil their role. 

Conservation treatments can be divided broadly into four main categories cleaning, desalination, consolidation and disinfestations. Within each of these categories there can be several sub-categories for the different cases and different materials that have to be addressed, such as the de-acidification of paper.
