Configuration Plan

Unveiled methanol and hydrogen fueled versions of its FCEV, based on the RAV4 sport utility vehicle. Both use Toyota s own PEM engines in hybrid configuration. Plans to launch a commercial FCV in 2003.

Before any physical movement is done in the real inspection environment, the optimal robot configuration and motion are planned and simulated in a virtual iuspection environment in the ROBCAD 3D robot simulation system. If any collisions or near-collisions are occurring or all the calculated inspection points can not be reached the robot configuration and/or robot inspection programs can be adjusted off-line accordingly without the need of the physical robot or inspection environment. This ensures that the time scheduled for the physical inspection is used actively for inspection instead of testing and configuration.

Depending on the accessibility afforded by adjacent equipment, aged ladders and access platforms are often quoted as options by vendors. The first step in space planning should be to estimate how much bench space wall be required. Benches must accommodate various pieces of permanently installed equipment and still have room for both frequently performed and special one-time tasks. Benches may be either installed against the wall or placed back to back in peninsulas or islands. The exact configuration will be worked out later. The first (+)-discodermolide synthesis was completed by Stuart Schreiber s group at Harvard University and is outlined in Scheme 13.68. Only one bicyclic peroxide was obtained for each ring system and for 26 and 27 we confirmed that the bromide is cis to the peroxide linkage. The cw-configuration of the [3.2.1] compound was indicated by the lH n.m.r. spectrum of the 2-bromo-3-butoxy-cyclohexanol obtained quantitatively upon reaction with butyllithium (Eq. 24), and has now been confirmed by an X-ray crystal structure determination39).
