Color reproducibility

A derivative of 163, 3-(2-morpholinoethylthio)[l,2,4]triazino[5,6-fo]indole dihydrochloride, is used as a thrombolytic (91URP1672373). Derivatives of the pyrazolo[5,l-c][l, 2,4]tria-zines were used as a constituent of silver halide color photographic supported material, which showed good color reproducibility [91JAP(K)03/291649]. The protective action of [l,2,4]triazino[4,3-a]benzimidazoles as corrosion inhibitors was studied (91MI8). [Pg.155]

Reproducibility of the dyeings was determined by calculation of the color differences between dyed lots and a standard dyeing of the same shade. In this calculation the color difference was determined from average tristimulus values of each dyed lot compared to a conventional dyeing, again using the FMC II equation. In addition to instrumental measurements, samples dyed by the reuse procedure were examined visually by expert dyers to further assess the color uniformity and color reproducibility. [Pg.205]

Initial inspection of the dyed carpet suggested that good color reproducibility and uniformity had been achieved. Ten samples were cut from each of the dyed samples and the color measured on the Diano Colorimeter. Each sample was measured three times to average variations due to instrument changes and sample texture differences. Tristimulus values (X,Y,Z) were calculated from the average of the three measurements. [Pg.208]

In addition to instrumental color measurements, the dyed carpets have been examined visually by four experienced carpet dyehouse supervisors. All four agreed that both the nylon and polyester carpet dyeings were acceptable as first-quality in both color uniformity and color reproducibility. [Pg.209]

Fluorescent lamps are inexpensive, readily available and in use worldwide. They also vary from batch to batch, company to company and between different geographical locations. They are designed to adequately render colors—not necessarily reproduce very accurately particular SPD. To what extent the SPD of a lamp can differ and still achieve its color reproducibly objective can be seen by comparing the old and new versions of the very popular cool-white lamp. [Pg.102]

Product quality assurance (QA) is a particularly tricky business in the dye manufacturing industry. A slight variation in reaction conditions can lead to a measurable change in the color of the product. and since customers usually require extremely high color reproducibility from one shipment to another, even a small color change can lead to rejection of a product batch. [Pg.33]

All of the aforementioned problems combine to make color reproducibility from batch to batch difficult to achieve. It becomes obvious that the services of a skilled coater are needed to obtain the best possible results. As can be seen, dye sugar-coating is a very time-consuming and delicate operation. [Pg.665]

Many of the problems associated with color reproducibility have been eliminated entirely. The finished tablet color has been predetermined by color matching the pigment dispersion before coating. [Pg.665]

In particular, when a conventional ink that contains an atkanediol is applied to the printing paper, the thickness of the ink receptive layer is so small that the amoimt of ink absorption into the recording medium is lower than the ink absorption amount in a specialty paper for inkjet recording. This results in a deteriorated color reproducibility. [Pg.30]

A strict dispersion stability and a highly- and finely-dispersed state are required in order to achieve satisfactory color reproducibility By using an acetylene glycol type or poly(siloxane) type surfactant as a penetrant, and using an alkyl ether derivative of a polyhy-dric alcohol such as ethylene glycol monobutyl ether as an organic solvent, a satisfactory color reproducibility can be achieved. [Pg.97]

Preferably, a coloring material for inkjet printing has an average particle diameter of 10-100 nm. When the average particle diameter is 200 nm or less, color reproducibility is favorable and the droplet ejecting properties are favorable. Further, when the average particle diameter is 10 nm or more, light resistance is favorable. The particle... [Pg.126]

Table 12.1 presents a comparison of the luminescent properties of current Mn" doped fluoride phosphors. The maximum absorption band in the blue region and strong red emission with a maximum wavelength at 627-630 nm of A2MF6 Mn (A = K, Na, Cs, Rbor NH4 M = Si, Ge, Zr, Sn, or Ti), and (Ba/Zn)(Si/Ge)F6 Mn -" qualify Mn -doped fluoride phosphor as a potential candidate to improve the color reproducibility of WEED. [Pg.387]
