Among the many competencies associated with being effective across cultures, cultural self-awareness is the key cognitive competency, curiosity is the key affective competency, and empathy is the key behavioral competency. I consider each of these in more depth.

Sirolimus is a substrate and inhibitor of CYP3A4 with a narrow therapeutic index and is associated with cognitive impairment and nephrotoxicity.
