Seidom is dew point caicuiated for water in humid air. It s too important and very easy to measure. It is a very important statistic for general aviation pilots, as it is used to calculate the likelihood of carburetor icing and fog. It s measured by using a polished metal mirror which is cooled as air is passed over it. The temperature at which dew forms is, by definition, the dew point.
