Budgeting Your Time

Each of us has the same 24 hours in a day, and there is only so much that a person can do on an average daily basis to accomplish certain things. Many of us need approximately 8 hours of sleep every night. In addidon, we all need to have some dme for work, friends and family, smdying, relaxation and recreadon, and just goofing around. 

You may not be an 18-year-old freshman whose parents are p ng most of your tuition. You may be an older student who is changing careers. Or you may be married and have children, so you must have at least a part-time job. In this case, obviously you will have to cut back

Wear a watch, and make a plan for budgeting your time. 

Budget your time. Keep an eye on the clock, and do not spend more than the appropriate amount of time on any question. It may not be worthwhile trying to get a few extra marks on one question at the expense of gaining easy marks by starting another. You must attempt the full number of questions specified on the paper. Note any breakdown of marks allocated for each part of a question, and use this to apportion the time and effort spent on the component parts.

Most often, you wiU only have sixty seconds to run your idea past a producer, so you need to sum up your movie and your idea very neatly and succinctly. Maybe you want Brad Pitt or Julia Roberts to star in your movie, but you are a newcomer to Hollywood and this is your first movie.
