Bacteriological analysis

The developed amperometric enzyme immunosensor was probed to determine the Klebsiella pneumoniae antigen in the human sera samples. The obtained results were juxtaposed with the data of the bacteriological analysis.

Live kids were euthanized by C02 asphyxiation, and lung tissue and abomasal fluid were collected on all kids bom or aborted. A month following the last birth or abortion, all dams were euthanized by captive-bolt and exsanguination. The following tissues were collected parotid, prescapular, internal iliac, and supra.mamma.ry lymph nodes liver spleen and mammary gland. All tissues collected were stored at -20°C until cultured for bacteriological analysis. 

Bacteriological analysis must be carried out immediately after sampling, or the sample of water must be suitably preserved. 

Simple bacteriological analysis, determining the total bacterial count per 1 ml, testing for Escherichia coli and coliform bacteria per 100 ml water in each case. 

Extended bacteriological analysis with special investigations, e.g. Salmonellae, Shigellae, Clostridia, anaerobic and similar microorganisms. 

Glass bottles are also necessary for special investigations, e.g. to determine oxygen, and also usually for bacteriological analysis. 

MF is used in bacteriological analysis of municipal waters and waste treatments. The identification of coliform bacteria in water indicates fecal contamination and the possible presence of pathogenic enteric organisms, which are responsible for causing... 

Water samples to be analyzed should be collected in sterilized 1 L plastic bottles or borosilicate glass precleaned and rinsed with distilled or deionized water. Samples should be unfiltered and unpreserved, except if chlorinated in which case 0.01% v/v sodium thiosulfate should be added. The sample should be kept at 4°C until it is ready for analysis usually within 24 h of collection. Complex of clinic-biochemical investigations (included cytological and bacteriological analysis of conjunctiva) was performed for all patients.
