Amine ethoxy late

Primary amines, diamines, - fatty amine ethoxy-lates and - quaternary ammonium compounds are used as emulsifiers in bituminous emulsions used in road coverings (7% of total amine market) 0.5-1% are added to form the asphalt emulsion, which is broken in contact with the negatively charged aggregate and simultanously improves adhesion to it.

A study of the reactions of amines and amine derivatives with scC02 using cSFC-MS was also reported [448], Both cSFC-APCI-MS and cSFC-ESI-MS of PEG 600 and PPG 425 were described [416]. Direct insertion probe (DIP) methodology was used for the structure analysis of the antistatic agent V,fV-bis-(2-hydroxyethyl)alkylamine. When analysed by SFC-MS coupling, the same sample could be separated into six components. The alkyl chains consist of saturated Cn, Ci4, C16 and C18 chains and of Cig chains with one double bond where 18 1 and 16 0 chains dominate. 

Derivatized polyethers such as polyether sulfate have been investigated for both positive- and negative-ion calibration [11]. Although poly ether sulfates are not commercially available, they are easily synthesized. Lauryl sulfate ethoxy-lates were also used as calibrants for negative-ion ESI. Polyether amines and quaternary ammonium salts were used as positive-ion calibration solutions [11]. These commercially available compounds do not exhibit significant sodium or potassium adducts, and they are more easily flushed out of the mass spectrometer ion source than are nonderivatized polyethers. In addition, doubly charged poly ether diamines can produce reference peaks at low m/z values.

Croda argues that ethoxylated amides (as opposed to ethoxy lated amines) are effective antistatic agents in polyethylene, but not necessarily in polypropylene. They are said to be faster-acting and more persistent than GMS. The higher molecular weight varieties are free from the volatility associated with another blooming antistat, lauric diethanolamide. 

We have investigated the distribution of a phosphated ethoxy-lated alcohol, neutralized with either an amine or an ethanolamine in crude oil and formation water (Figure 4) and found also a constant partition coefficient up to a certain value. 

The members of the TRITON RW-Series are alkylamine ethoxy-lates made by the reaction of t-alkyl primary amines with ethylene oxide. The active ingredient content is 100 percent. 

Primarily owing to cost or even tradition, other surfactants, snch as ethoxy-lated amines, amides, and amphoterics, have not been used generally in laundry detergents. However, these specialty surfactants have been included in a number of other household cleaners, industrial formulations, and personal-care products.
