Aggregate national data

The initial and annual declarations to be provided by each State Party pursuant to Article VI, paragraphs 7 and 8, shall include aggregate national data for the previous calendar year on the quantities produced, processed, consumed, imported and exported of each Schedule 2 chemical, as well as a quantitative specification of import and export for each country involved. [Pg.75]

Recalling that the Chemical Weapons Convention (hereinafter the Convention ) requires States Parties to make declarations of Schedule 2 and Schedule 3 aggregate national data (AND) under the provisions of paragraph 1 of Part VII and paragraph 1 of Part VIII of the Verification Annex of the Chemical Weapons Convention (hereinafter the Verification Annex ) ... [Pg.197]

This provision aims at allowing States Parties to collect the information and data required to comply with its obligation to declare aggregate national data as prescribed by paragraph 1 of Part VII of the Verification Annex. States Parties may also wish to require reporting before the import respectively export, so as to be in a position to issue a clearance certificate, which would facilitate the procedures at customs. [Pg.393]

The First Review Conference stressed how important it is that all States Parties -with facilities declarable under Article VI submit annual declarations in an accurate, complete, and timely manner. The same applies to the other declarations required under Article VI (aggregate national data, and notifications and declarations of transfers of Schedule 1 chemicals). Furthermore, and recalling the decision taken by the Conference at its First Session on changes to annual declarations (C-I/DEC.38, dated 16 May 1997), the First Review Con-... [Pg.493]

The Second Review Conference stressed the importance of the timely submission of initial declarations and annual declarations in an accurate and complete manner by aU States Parties under Article VI (facihties, aggregate national data, and notifications and declarations of transfers of Schedule 1 chemicals) in accordance with the timehnes in the Convention. It encouraged the Secretariat to continue to provide support to States Parties in cormection with the preparation and submission of declarations. It stressed the importance of the Secretariat s continuing to report to the Council in accordance with the decision of the Council (EC-51/DEC.1, dated 27 November 2007), with the aim of allowing the Secretariat to efficiently and effectively carry out its verification activities. [Pg.518]

Juez and Tamayo51 also apply time-series analysis to the evaluation of the consequences of introducing selective financing in 1993. Using the aggregate monthly data on pharmaceutical expenditure of the National Health System between 1991 and 1995, in constant deseasonalized pesetas, the authors compare the observed evolution with the theoretical evolution according to a linear fit. They conclude that the measure had a notable effect in the short term, but was absorbed in the long term. [Pg.228]

Approaches for aggregating exposure for simple scenarios have been proposed in the literature (Shurdut et al., 1998 Zartarian et al., 2000). The USEPA s National Exposure Research Laboratory has developed the Stochastic Human Exposure and Dose Simulation (SHEDS) model for pesticides, which can be characterized as a first-generation aggregation model and the developers conclude that to refine and evaluate the model for use as a regulatory decision-making tool for residential scenarios, more robust data sets are needed for human activity patterns, surface residues for the most relevant snrface types, and cohort-specific exposure factors (Zartarian et al, 2000). The SHEDS framework was used by the USEPA to conduct a probabilistic exposure assessment for the specific exposure scenario of children contacting chromated copper arsenate (CCA)-treated playsets and decks (Zartarian et al, 2003). [Pg.373]

The major reservoirs of natural CO occur around the Permian Basin area. Sheep Mountain, in southeastern Colorado is estimated to contain one trillion cubic feet (TCF) of CO2 of 97% purity. Productive capacity is approximately 300 MCF per day. Other important sources include Brano Dome in New Mexico with reserves of 5 TCF and with total productive capacity of approximately 350 MCF per day. The McElmo Dome has reserves of greater than 8 TCF (97% purity) of the same productive capacity as the Brano Dome Unit. The potential for the McElmo Dome is believed to be approximately 1 billion cubic feet per day. In addition, other units include Jackson Dome, Mississippi (1 TCF proven) and the LaBrage area of southwestern Wyoming which is believed to have reserves in excess of 20 TCF. These data, based on the 1984 National Petroleum Council study of enhanced oil recovery, indicate that the aggregate supply is approximately 2 billion cubic feet per day. [Pg.2]

Air quality data management is another responsibility of EAE. Raw and aggregated data are stored in local databases of all REIs. The data from REIs are sent to the national database at... [Pg.304]

When comparing data from different countries, these discussions illustrate that it is important to pay attention to regulatory requirements for reporting and certification, the sources of information, transparency and the quality and level of aggregation of the data. Also national contexts such as culture, norms and regulatory properties are relevant. [Pg.218]
