These include homes built before 1978 that may have been painted with paint that contains lead (lead-based paint). If you are buying a home that was built before 1978, you may want to know if it contains lead based paint. It is advisable first to secure an option to buy the land so that all of the potential problems can be evaluated or solved before the purchase is made. In general, there are few requirements for serving on city councils. In the United States, they are often made up primarily of those with conflicts of interest, such as real estate agents and developers.
