Report and follow-up After completing the intensive VIP workshop, the workshop facilitator completes the written VIP final report for the project record. During this time, the project management team assigns each approved recommendation to a member of the project team, estimates the engineering time and resources required to incorporate the improvement into the project scope of work, and communicates the results of the VIP within the integrated project team. This follow-up action plan creates a very positive and cost-conscious attitude within the project team that leads to Further improvements in project value. 

Time management is essential for the students, who had to balance their time commitment to the project and the workloads from the other courses. They were also required to take an additional six credits course in the school level, high tech entrepreneurship program (HTEP) for both Fall and Spring semesters. Each semester, the students were asked to monitor their activities for one week period, rank the activities in term of priority and calculate the amount of time used. The students were then asked to reassess their time usage and create an action plan.

Once a marketing plan has been created, the next challenge is to put the plan into action. The goods and services described in the plan must fit into the pharmacy practice, which is an ongoing combination of people, equipment, and information. Putting a new service into practice means that the pharmacy will be disrupted in some way. Ideally, such disruption will be limited in time and done in a manner that minimizes problems for staff and customers. A couple of tools that can support a coordinated practice change are a service blueprint and an action plan. 

Dr. Butler has created a service blueprint for the Med Check Program at Feel Great Pharmacy. She will also create a service blueprint for each of the Stay Fit Program components. These documents will help her to implement the new services in her pharmacy. Similarly, she has an action plan for one part ofher newprograms. Dr. Butler can add more details to the current action plan and later expand it to encompass both programs. This approach allows her to coordinate all the tasks that need to be completed for Feel Great Pharmacy to offer the new goods and services.

Federal contractors are expected to have robust affirmative action plans in place to increase diversity in the workforce. They are also expected to analyze workplace practices and systems that create adverse impact. Gaps in such systems can lead to cosdy class action lawsuits if not monitored closely.

These companies make a commitment to those they serve, including employees, customers, communities and others. Corporate Social Responsibility refers to operating a business in a maimer that accounts for the social and environmental impact created by the business. Often CSR policies include commitments to the safety and health of workers, customers and commuiuties, and action plans to implement them. The Internet shows many sources of help with CSR and examples of corporate CSR statements and action programs. 

An action plan is created for both analyzing the data and implementing followup action.
