Working laundry systems

Position/Displacement sensors can be used in active damping systems of industrial washing machines in order to compensate for vibrations coming from unbalanced drums /laundry. These can work much like a simple automotive shock absorber. 

Your entire life is affected when one whiff of perfume, fabric softener or fresh paint can result in a throbbing headache, brain dysfunction, an asthma attack, a convulsion or a myriad of other symptoms. Work performance, relationships and community ties collapse when your olfactory system is so heightened that you become ill from the smell of laundry products on the clothes of someone sitting all the way across the room. Fear overcomes you when suddenly carpeting, photocopies, car exhaust and other products produce the same effects, and the only way to protect yourself is through isolation. 

In the end, the Shaster Foundation commended the project team not only for the excellence of the design and construction of the laundry and irrigation system, but also for the wonderful way the students had served as ambassadors for their institution and for their country. The Foundation assured the students that their work would serve as a model for other washing stations and similar improvements in other settlements in the region, thus noting an added dimension of the project s sustainability - its extension by example to others to come. 

Foam control plays an important role during laundry washing processes mainly in European drum-type washing machines. An antifoam system is an integral part of the development at work on a new laundry detergent formulation. 

The final cleaning of the room is done with disinfectant prior to a general disinfection of the whole ventilation system. Changing rooms and laundry must be working before the final clean which Ls done with staff fully garmented. Meanwhile, autoclaves and ovens are commissioned and the floor equipment is wiped down, sited connected to services and covered while final cleaning takes place.
