Within range

In the current review, the term effectiveness of air distribution will be used to describe the ratio of the occupied zone area (where thermal comfort and contaminant concentration are within ranges required by standards and codes) to the total occupied zone area. This hygienic criterion allows one to judge how well the HVAC system fulfills its main task—creating thermal comfort conditions and controlling contaminants in the occupied zone.

The problem of color due to tannin can be annoying, although not insurmountable. For small, simple boiler plants, the presence of color is, in fact, a benefit, as the depth of color is more or less related to the inhibitor concentration and the BW conductivity and TDS levels. Where multiblended formulations are employed, if the color is within range, then other parameters are also likely to be acceptable. Also, electrical conductivity is unaffected by color, and tannins do not appreciably add to the measurable TDS of the BW.

Correspondingly, replacement of the phenol (Fig. 33) by m-cresol (with the methyl oriented partially along a, Fig. 35) is associated with an increase of only about 0.65 A in the length of the c axis. Visual surveillance is provided through a closed circuit television (CCTV) system, in which the capture, transmission, and reception of an image is localized within a closed circuit. For many purposes in analytical chemistry the normal distribution is a very useful model. The area imder the normal curve can be divided in various sections characterized by the arithmetic mean and a multiple of the standard deviation. System Suitability. Although method validation is performed once at the end of method development, system suitability tests are performed on a specific system periodically (usually daily) or prior to each batch during validation and sample analysis to determine the system performance (see Chapter 13). Testing programmes should be significant, i.e. designed to suit the problem, not to copy an accepted publication. Too often the preoccupation with standard methods to get counts within range or correct names can be expensive and time-consuming. 

After release from the presynaptic terminal, acetylcholine molecules may bind to and activate an acetylcholine receptor (cholinoceptor).
