In Chapter 3 we looked at the sacred treasures of King Solomon s Temple recorded in the Temple of the A1 Kamak, particularly the plunder from the Palestine campaign of Thutmose III. Detailed examination of these treasures shows the same elongated pyramidal or conical shapes under the items of gold. This, is, white bread or shewbread " This same shape is shown even earlier in the White Chapel at Kamak, where the twelfth dynasty Pharaoh Sesostris I presents the conical shewbread to Amun. "... 

Jet lag loosens the moorings of your everyday mind. I m thinking about the ruins that are all I ve ever known of the chapel at the Chantry, the thick stumps of flint and stubby buttresses that were once walls the tarry beams and props supporting the wall of the house that once joined it the tiled floor, with the white harts and fleurs-de-lis still visible, though the grass creeps over them. Once I dug some tiles up in search of buried treasure, and found only earth and worms.

The Sephiroth of the Tree change into the Queen Scale of Briah and, simultaneously, you see that the field of the phoenix shield that hangs over the door to the chapel, is changed from white to azure. And within the chapel, the royal orb, cushioned upon the altar, is now formed of precious blue sapphire.

Henry White was born in Chapel Hill. North Carolina in 1956. He received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina in 1978 and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982. He held a postdoctoral appointment at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1983 to 1984 and was on the faculty of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Minnesota from 1984 to 1993. He is currently a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Utah. His research interests include magnetic-field-induced transport, oxide films and corrosion, iontophoretic transdermal drug delivery, and electrochemical phenomena at electrodes of nanometer dimensions. 

Toward the end of her initiation and under the influence of a full dose of eboka (Tabemanthe iboga), an initiate stares intently out of the chapel, waiting for her ancestors to "arrive." Because white is the color of the ancestors, she has been painted all over with kaolin. Behind her sits the nyia-eboka, her "mother of eboka, who gives her encouragement. 

Sundials on the walls, above splendid and flowery coats-of-arms, dazzling window-panes, red tiled roofs,- little chapels sunk in shadow, and the golden balls on towers shimmering upwards towards chubby white clouds.
