Wet-type collector

In this connection necessity for creation of such wet-type collectors which would work with the low charge of an irrigating hquid now has matured and combined the basic virtues of modem means of clearing of gases simplicity and compactness, a high performance, a capability of control of processes of a dust separation and optimisation of regimes. [Pg.241]

To the greatest degree modem demands to the device and activity of apparatuses of clearing of industrial gases there match wet-type collectors with inner circulation the fluids gaining now more and more a wide circulation in systems of gas cleaning in... [Pg.241]

Circulation of a fluid in the wet-type collector is supplied at the expense of a kinetic energy of a gas flow. Each apparatus is supplied by the device for maintenance of a fixed level of a fluid, and also the device for removal of slimy from the scrabber collecting hopper. [Pg.242]

Irrigating of gas by a fluid without use of injectors that allows to use for irrigating a fluid with the high contents of suspended matters (to 250 mg/m ) Landlocked circulation of a fluid in apparatuses which allows to reuse a fluid in contact devices of scrubbers and by that to device out its charge on clearing of gas to 0,5kg/m i.e. in 10 and more times in comparison with other types of wet-type collectors ... [Pg.242]

The indicated features and advantages of such scrabbers have led to wide poptrlar-ity of these apparatuses, active working out of various constmctions, research and a heading of wet-type collectors, as in Russia, and abroad. [Pg.242]

The following was the primal problems which were put by working out of a new construction of the wet-type collector with irmer circirlation of a fluid ... [Pg.248]

The formulated leading-outs are aetual for intensive operation wet-type collectors in which the basic gear of selection of corpuscles is the gear of the inertia dust separa-tiom... [Pg.258]

Stationary and portable wet type collectors may be placed in the explosives operating bays or cubicles provided the quantity of explosives in the collectors does not exceed five pounds. If placed in separate cubicles, the explosives limits for the collectors may be increased to the amount reflecting the capabilities of the cubicie walls as operational shields. For greater quantities, the location requirements set forth above are applicable. [Pg.306]

The dusty gas stream arrives in the apparatus and is washed out by a liquid inducted into it or hits about its surface dust corpuscles leave from a gas stream owing to their collision with liquid drops. Scrubbers refer to the given group of wet-type collectors hollow and with a nozzle, high-speed turbulent dedusters, scrubbers of a percussion and others, for example. [Pg.6]

Deficiencies of wet-type collectors are compensated working out of highly effective apparatuses with rather low power consumption, increase in extent of separation of gas and fluid-flow phases, use of a low-purity irrigating liquid for circulation, and so on. [Pg.7]

To use modem techniques in gas industry, wide circulation of liquid is used in wet-type collectors with inner circulation in systems of gas cleaning in Russia and abroad (Ugov, 1981 and Shcwidki, 2002). [Pg.152]

Circulation of a liquid in the wet-type collector occurs at the expense of a kinetic energy of a gas stream. [Pg.153]

From the literary data it follows that known builds of scrubbers with internal circulation of a liquid work in a narrow range of change of speed of gas. Because of low speeds of gas in contact channels known apparatuses have the big gabarits. These defects, and also a weak level of scrutiny of processes occurring in apparatuses, absence of reliable methods of their calculation complicate working of new rational builds of wet-type collectors of the given type and their wide implementation in manufacture. [Pg.182]

One of trends of development of wet-type collectors is creation of apparatuses of intensive operation with high carrying capacity on a gas phase that is connected with favorable decrease in gabarits of installations. In these conditions, owing to high relative speed of traffic of liquid and gas phases, work upon effect of a dust separation mechanisms the inertia and direct capture of corpuscles. Such process is realized in impact-sluggish dedusters to which it is possible to refer to the investigated apparatus[l-5]. [Pg.208]

It is possible to admit that for certain three-phase systems gas-a liquid-a solid boundary concentration of a dust can appear too big that will directly affect too big extent of circulation, which is difficult for realizing in the conditions of commercial operation of wet-type collectors. [Pg.208]

In wet-type collectors of bubbling t)q)e motion of gas and liquid drops can be organized on one of three circuit designs counterflow, direct-flow, or with a cross current (Valdberg, 1969 and 1971). We will carry out the analysis of process of sedimentation of a dust on drops of liquid depending on the circuit design of motion of streams and it is definable its efficiency. [Pg.289]

Wet-type collectors not only can successfully compete with such highly effective dedusters as bag hoses but also can be used when bag hoses are not applied, for example, at a high temperature and a spray zone, at danger of ignitions, and explosions of cleared gases or trapped dust. [Pg.381]
