Warning to the Reader

The same Rosicnician organization which gave birth to Martinez de Pascuallis and his Elus-Cohens which had the aim of working towards the ultimate aspect of the Great Work called Universal Reintegration , was stirred up thirty years later by his direct disciple, Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin, with the aim of working towards Individual Reconciliation . 

by a happy coincidence, the Martinist Order ofElus Cohen came into possession of authentic documents and manuscripts from the Eighteenth Century in 1955, documents sought in vain up till now by historians of Martinism. That is ten years before the technique of the inner way , confided to L.-C. de Saint-Martin and transmitted by him directly to his intimates, was transmitted to us by a final initiation. The person who had received it in Egypt, in Cairo, thirty years earlier, gave us an alchemical diagram, a brief oral explanation, and the initiation which went with the other two items. Moreover, this initiation has no link to classical Martinism.  

In fact, it acts on this cardiac path on which we have written extensively, which Papus emphasized with so much vigor, and which is, in fact, an occult technique, and not just a banal sensibility. 

Unfortunately, it is not achieved easily. It requires constant vigilance of its practitioner, both towards himself as towards others for in the ABSOLUTE, Mercy and Justice must be balanced. It is useless to be good and charitable is one remains envious, angry, lustful and lazy... 

Believing it useless and unjust to see it reserved for so many years to a very restricted number of aspirants, considering how few of these initiates actually observe the discipline of the initiations which they have received, we have made these words of Scripture our own And I will call them my people, which were not my people and her beloved, which was not beloved. Paul, Epistle to the Romans, IX, 25). So, he or she who has not had the opportunity to enter into the domain of initiations, can at least, as independent disciples of the Unknown Philosopher, work alone towards their own reconciliation .

To break the ground for the section, we introduce basic GT notation. A warning to the reader to achieve brevity, we intentionally sacrifice some precision in our presentation. See texts like Friedman (1986) and Fudenberg and Tirole (1991) if more precision is required. 

Markov chains theory provides a powerful tool for modeling several important processes in electrochemistry and electrochemical engineering, including electrode kinetics, anodic deposit formation and deposit dissolution processes, electrolyzer and electrochemical reactors performance and even reliability of warning devices and repair of failed cells. The way this can be done using the elegant Markov chains theory is described in lucid manner by Professor Thomas Fahidy in a concise chapter which gives to the reader only the absolutely necessary mathematics and is rich in practical examples. 

Therefore, in this chapter we describe major refinery operations and the products therefrom and focus on their composition, properties, and uses. This presents to the reader the essence of petroleum processes, the types of feedstocks employed, and the product produced, as well as warning of the types of the chemicals that can be released to the environment when an accident occurs. Being forewarned offers an environmental analyst the ability to design the necessary test methods to examine the chemical(s) released. It offers environmental scientists and engineers the ability to start forming opinions and predictions about the nature of the chemical(s) released, the potential effects of the chemical(s) on the environment, and the possible methods of cleanup. 

We warn the reader that the word isomorphism is used in many different contexts in mathematics. It generally refers to an injective and surjective function that respects some mathematical operations, and whose inverse also respects those operations. Often it is up to the reader to infer from context exactly what the isomorphism in question respects. 

This approach should ensure that the design of the Web site avoids creating warnings, hazards, or other pertinent facts within medical information statements. If a different browser is being used, that does not support the original technology used, then important medical information may not be brought to the reader s attention. 

The series editors wish this book a wide distribution. It is up to the reader to find out which of the properties and descriptors might be most suitable for describing the data. However, the early warnings by Corwin Hansch, John Topliss, and others should not be forgotten make your model as simple as possible test and include only a few parameters try to achieve an understanding of your model use a test set to check the external predictivity of your model. Molecular descriptors are powerful tools in QSAR studies - but their abuse may lead nowhere. May this book further contribute to their selective and proper use ... 

Three examples of mistakes known to every ter-atologist and the major lessons learned from each are described below. These lessons provide a warning and a caution to the reader. These lessons demonstrate how data can be misinterpreted or missed altogether and illustrate the responsibilities borne by those who make mistakes in developmental toxicology. 

A warning that something is an advertisement must precede editorial advertisements this warning must be clear and legible to the reader. 

When assessing the consequences of a given failure condition, account should be taken of the warnings given, the complexity of the crew action (see Fig. 10.1) and the relevant crew training required to respond to the failure condition. It is hopefully obvious to the reader that operators (e.g. pilots and cabin crew) should form an integral part of such discussions as many Safety Assessors have little to no operational experience.

MSE is a huge domain again and again I have had to warn the reader that I could only scratch the surface of some theme in the space available to me, and still I have covered more than 560 pages with a combination of history and depiction. 

In the following chapter this brief outline of representation theory will be applied to several problems in physical chemistry. It is first necessary, however, to show how functions can be adapted to conform to the natural symmetry of a given problem. It will be demonstrated that this concept isof particular importance in the analysis of molecular vibrations and in the th iy of molecular orbitals, among others. The reader is warned, however, that a serious development of this subject is above the level of this book. Hence, in the following section certain principles will be presented without proof. 

The reader is warned that the use of differential operators may lead to difficulties in certain cases. Specifically, if the coefficients appearing in Eq. (15) are functions of x, the method fails. Furthermore, it must be modified if two (or more) roots are equal. 

My second example is just as egregious in its own way. White (1982), in what is otherwise an exemplary and still valuable meta-analysis, discusses the use of SES both as a spurious influence (covariate or nuisance variable) and as a causal agent (p. 462). He completely fails to warn the reader, however, that it is mandatory to sort correlations into those based on relationships between biological relatives and those based on relationships between adopted parents and their adopted children. His failure to discuss such a critical issue is perplexing as he does cite two classic adoption studies (Burks, 1928a Freeman, Holzinger, Mitchell, 1928) but not that of Scarr and Weinberg published in 1978. 

The information specified above in relation to dosage, method of use, side effects, precautions and contra-indications and any warning which is required to be included in advertisements, must be placed in such a position in the advertisement, that its relationship to the claims and indications for the product can be appreciated by the reader.
