High performance composites may be laminates wherein veils of carbon fiber ate treated with an epoxy resin, stacked up to the desired final product thickness, and then laminated together under heat and pressure (see Composite materials Carbon and graphite fibers). Simply mixing together carbon or glass fibers and polymeric resins to form a reinforced plastic leads to a composite material, but this is not a laminate if not constmcted from discrete phes. 

C-veil Thin, nonwoven fabric composed of randomly oriented and adhered glass fibers of a chemically resistant glass mixture. 

Note Traces of ammonia from the mobile phase should be removed from the plate completely to avoid background discoloration (grey veil) [1]. If the layer is sprayed too heavily the initially grey-black chromatogram zones can fade again [2]. The reagent which is usually employed as a 1 to 2% solution [2, 3, 6, 7] can be treated with a few drops of nitric acid to clarify the solution [2]. 

From pereiro bark of this species (also known as Taberncemontana Icevis Veil.) used in Brazil as a febrifuge, Hesse isolated two alkaloids, geissospermine and pereirine i and a third, vellosine, was found by Freund and Fauvet.2 Geissospermine has been investigated by Bertho et al., whose data are used in the following account.

Mathematical models are the link between what is observed experimentally and what is thought to occur at the molecular level. In physical sciences, such as chemistry, there is a direct correspondence between the experimental observation and the molecular world (i.e., a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum directly reflects the interaction of hydrogen atoms on a molecule). Gel coat In RP processing a gel coat on the outer surface can be used to ensure a smooth surface appearance and a tough surface. It could contain a thin synthetic fiber veil to improve performance of the gel coat and/or a surfacing mat. It is a quick setting plastic and gelled prior to reinforcement layup. The gel coat becomes an integral part of the finished RP product. 

In the case of complete ignorance, several criteria for deciding on what act to choose have been proposed. We mention some veil-known ones among them. Because of lack of space it is left to the reader to interpret and criticize each criterion as it may be in harmony or discord with his own thinking on the subject.
