The reciprocal lattices shown in figure B 1.21.3 and figure B 1.21.4 correspond directly to the diffraction patterns observed in FEED experiments each reciprocal-lattice vector produces one and only one diffraction spot on the FEED display. It is very convenient that the hemispherical geometry of the typical FEED screen images the reciprocal lattice without distortion for instance, for the square lattice one observes a simple square array of spots on the FEED display. 

Thus, the inverse collision gives rise to the same particle velocities as those with which the corresponding direct collision is started.

The threshold energies for these processes correspond directly to the electron affinity (EA) or ionization energy (IE).

We ve already said that an attribute need not correspond directly to stored data in an implementation.2 A client is described as having a balance, but its implementation could be anything from a number tallied by hand in a ledger to a macro that summed selected purchase orders in a database. 

At the lowest level, class diagrams can correspond directly to program code attributes and associations turn into pointers or (in languages such as C++) contained objects. Many 00 design tools provide the means to turn a class diagram into skeleton code and vice versa. However, we should be careful not to use this facility too readily it is useful only at the very bottom layer of design. 

Another implementation of a queue is based on a linked list. There is not necessarily any variable that corresponds directly to the model s length, but you can retrieve it by counting the nodes. 

The ( ) suffixes distinguish the implementation. The first thing a reviewer might notice is that the classes I have written don t seem to correspond directly to the classes mentioned in the specification. Their attributes are different, and so on. A type specification denotes a set of objects All objects that meet that specification are members of that type. Some ways of combining type specifications correspond directly to operating on the corresponding sets of objects join does not.
