UV Curing in Printing and Graphic Arts

The objective of printing is to create a visibly identifiable image, consistently, for a large number of impressions. In principle, this can be done with a printing plate, and the various printing methods are named after the nature of the printing plate. While UV curing is new relatively new to the plastics market, it is the estabhshed way to cure coating materials. In graphic arts for example, many UV varnishes, inks and adhesives are cured with UV.
