The main applications of metallic effect pigments are paints and coatings, printing inks and graphic arts as well as plastics and colorants (masterbatches). 

An important feature for both the industrial and graphic arts market is faster cure speeds for improved productivity. Drop on d and (DOD) piezoelectric printheads are being developed with ever increasing print speeds however, curing speed often remains the critical factor. The combination of low-viscosity aaylate oligomers, monomers, and specific photoinitiator blends can dramatically inCTease cure speed and give excellent cured film properties.
