Tiled window

Version 1 of Windows featured the tiling windows, mouse support, and menu systems that still drive next-generation operating systems such as Windows 98, Windows CE, and Windows 2000. It also offered cooperative multitasking, meaning that more than one Windows application could run concurrently. This was something that MS-DOS, up to this point, could not do.

Unlike earlier versions of SAM, which used a fixed layout of tiled windows, SAM 3.2 uses multiple independent windows to contain the various parts of a safety case. In order to make the management of these windows easier, a number of window management commands have been provided. 

When you write on a blackboard with chalk, you are not unduly inconvenienced if 3 pieces in 10 break while you are using it but if 1 in 2 broke, you might seek an alternative supplier. During the next four years many additional new polymers were synthesized. Start the 1D WIN-NMR program and set-up the four MDI/application windows display as shown in Fig. 4.3 by clicking the MDI system menu button. Activate the four windows one after the other and inspect the corresponding button panels and menu bars. Iconize two of the windows and rearrange the other two so that each fills half of the display. To do this use the title bar and/or the window frames or use the Tile option in the Window pull-down menu. Check the functionality of the minimize/maximize button and of the options offered in one of the system menus. Iconize the 1D WIN-NMR program by clicking the corresponding button in the 1D WIN-NMR title bar. 

For NMR data measured on UXNMR/XWINNMR based spectrometers, these options opens the appropriate dialog box showing the ACQuisition (AQS), the PROCessing (FQS) and the PLOT (PLT) parameters. For NMR data tiles measured on DISNMR/DJSMSL based spectrometers (AM, AC) the corresponding parameters are accessible in the A3000 Parameters. Parameters may be edited, printed oi transferred to the Preview window, from where they may be stored a.s a textfile. 

Cal suds, Cal soft and Cal amide concentrates can be formulated to create powerful, non-corrosive, non-filming cleaners for floors, woodwork, walls, windows, counter tops, tubs, tile and similar hard surfaces. Use levels 1-4 oz./9al of water.

So I scrambled out on the ledge and then went through the nasty contortions required to replace the bars, for I never leave the window unguarded in the night. That was not the easiest of maneuvers in such weather and the leap in darkness wrung a prayer out of me. Obviously I survived, although I banged my left knee on the tiles.
