The Holy Bible

The Holy Bible has numerous references to the safety of people, and Deuteronomy 22 8 states  

When you build a new house, build a parapet for your roof, lest someone fall from it and bring the guilt of blood upon your house, (v. 8) 

The houses were constructed with flat roofs, and during the hot summer nights most of the inhabitants slept on the roof. As there was frequent movement of people, hand rails or parapets were needed to prevent people from falling and injuring themselves. 

England was the cradle of mechanized industry, but prior to 1500 was mostly an agricultural country, and manors or small, self-sustaining settlements were the only form of work activity. From 1500 the British steadily progressed in aaftsmanship. Workers in wood, metal, and textiles attained new skills, and new products were developed and manufactured. As this revolution in industrial techniques began, mass production also began, and the production unit as we know it today started to develop. 

The first spinning mill was built in the United States in 1770, and industry started to grow.

These books will teach you how to solve and balance chemical equations, find molecular weights, how to double or triple the scale of your formula (multiplying the given formula by two or three rarely works as rates of reaction and dynamic equilibrium change much more differently as the mass of reagents and precursors are increased) and other necessary information. I would like to have included this information but it would take several decades to do so and the finished book would be longer than four holy bibles combined. With so many good chemistry books available, it would be impractical for me to- do this.

On the side of the room facing the church there was a glass case of sacred texts, including a shabby Bible, prayer books, a copy of the Holy Office, and the work of other writers largely unknown to me because my father never bought books that weren t concerned with natural philosophy Locke, Defoe, Milton, Dryden, La Fontaine. The Bible provides other grand stories of the sacrifice myth. Moses died before Joshua received the fertile land of Israel. King David similarly died before Solomon brought prosperity to the land with the building of the Temple. In the same way, the wounded and impotent Fisher King of the Holy Grail finally passes to his rest before prosperity returns to his wasting land.
