This report is the ACW II Committee s response to Task 2 of its Statement of Task (i.e., review and evaluate EDS documentation and testing developed for the destruction of chmical weapons at the Pueblo Chemical Depot). On the basis of the final schedule for the Pueblo EDS testing by the technology providers, the original delivery date of March 2001 was extended to July 15, 2001. This report will be produced in time to contribute to the Record of Decision (ROD) by the Office of the Secretary of Defense on a technology selection for the Pueblo site, which is scheduled for August 13, 2001, following satisfaction of NEPA requiranents.

Besides the demonstration of the heat utilization system, the JAERI plans to carry out safety demonstration tests to confirm the salient inherent safety features of the HTGR. In addition material and fuel irradiation tests as upgrading HTGR technologies after attaining rated power will be conducted. Preliminary tests on selected research subjects such as composite material and ZrC coated fuel developments, have been carried out at high temperature and under irradiation. 

During the selection process, resumes and Job applications are typically separated into three stacks AAS degree—process technology, one-year certificate, and uneducated. A company may use a preemployment test to select resumes to investigate further. Process experience is another important variable used to determine second-phase recruiting or who will get an interview.
