We further make the following tentative conjecture (probably valid only under restricted circumstances, e.g., minimal coupling between degrees of freedom) In quantum field theories, too, the YM residual fields, A and F, arise because the particle states are truncated (e.g., the proton-neutron multiplet is an isotopic doublet, without consideration of excited states). Then, it is within the truncated set that the residual fields reinstate the neglected part of the interaction. If all states were considered, then eigenstates of the form shown in Eq. (90) would be exact and there would be no need for the residual interaction negotiated by A and F.

It has been tentatively suggested that one mechanism underlies the Willgerodt reaction and the Kindler modification of it. A labile intermediate is first formed which has a carbon—carbon bond in the side chain. The scheme is indicated below it postulates a series of steps involving the addition of ammonia or amine (R = H or alkyl), elimination of water, re addition and eUmination of ammonia or amine until the unsaturation appears at the end of the chain then an irreversible oxidation between sulphur and the nitrogen compound may occur to produce a thioamide. 

General trends in the reactivity of aminothiazoles and derivatives may be tentatively outlined. 

The evolution of the mean ir net charge of the five atoms of the ring as a function of the calculation method is reported in Fig. Tl. The sophistication of the method corresponds rougly to a leveling of the charges except for sulfur. The ab initio model, being unique, is tentatively reported in Fig. I-l. 

Until 1962 the infrared and Raman spectra of thiazole in the liquid state were described by some authors (173, pp. 194-200) with only fragmentary assignments. At that date Chouteau et al. (201) published the first tentative interpretation of the whole infrared spectrum between 4000 and 650 cm for thiazole and some alkyl and haloderivatlves. They proposed a complete assignment of the normal modes of vibration of the molecule.

Chromatographic peak areas are calculated automatically by the data system by reference to the response obtained from certain specified, compound-dependent ions. From the peak areas of the target compounds, quantification is achieved by comparison with the internal standards, which are present in known concentration. The laboratory responsible for the analysis must report the target compounds and all tentatively identified (nontarget) compounds. Standard EPA forms must be completed and submitted. Acryhcs and modacryhcs are also useflil industrial fibers. Fibers low in comonomer content, such as Dolan 10 and Du Font s PAN Type A, have exceptional resistance to chemicals and very good dimensional stabihty under hot—wet conditions. These fibers are useflil in industrial filters, battery separators, asbestos fiber replacement, hospital cubical curtains, office room dividers, uniform fabrics, and carbon fiber precursors. The exceUent resistance of acryhc fibers to sunlight also makes them highly suitable for outdoor use. Typical apphcations include modacryhcs, awnings, sandbags, tents, tarpauhns, covers for boats and swimming pools, cabanas, and duck for outdoor furniture (59). 

A significant advance in flame retardancy was the introduction of binary systems based on the use of halogenated organics and metal salts (6,7). In particular, a 1942 patent (7) described a finish for utilizing chlorinated paraffins and antimony(III) oxide [1309-64-4]. This type of finish was invaluable in World War II, and saw considerable use on outdoor cotton fabrics in both uniforms and tents.

The standard methods (26) of analysis for commercial lecithin, as embodied in the Official and Tentative Methods of the American Oil Chemists Society (AOCS), generally are used in the technical evaluation of lecithin (27). Eor example, the AOCS Ja 4-46 method determines the acetone-insoluble matter under the conditions of the test, free from sand, meal, and other petroleum ether-insoluble material. The phosphoHpids are included in the acetone-insoluble fraction. The substances insoluble in hexane are determined by method AOCS Ja 3-87. 

The mechanism of chemiluminescence is still being studied and most mechanistic interpretations should be regarded as tentative. Nevertheless, most chemiluminescent reactions can be classified into (/) peroxide decomposition, including biolurninescence and peroxyoxalate chemiluminescence (2) singlet oxygen chemiluminescence and (J) ion radical or electron-transfer chemiluminescence, which includes electrochemiluminescence.
