Templates types

To use the template, draw a type using the name of the template package (this is also the name of the primary template type, which the type drawn implicitly substitutes). Place the template parameters in the UML inset dashed box or show them as explicit textual substitutions7 in the form shown in Figure 9.30. Either one is equivalent to drawing the syntax shown in Figure 9.31. (In C++, the equivalent would be roughly SortedList < Banana, shorterThan>.)...

The radical relay process also works with other template types. Thus, the thioether unit in 92 directed chlorination of C-14 by S02C12 [165]. Also, the sulfur in the thiox-anthone template of 93 directed the radical relay process to C-9 [166]. The thiophene sulfur in 94 was able to direct chlorination to C-9 in all three attached steroids [167]. In all these cases, an intermediate is formed with a chlorine atom bonded to sulfur. 

Ultimate progress in the control of the primary structure of synthetic macromolecules might be expected if it were possible to develop a template type synthesis, in analogy to the polymerase chain reaction [27]. In spite of many efforts, no successful concept has yet been developed, which is no surprise regarding the complicated supramolecular interactions involved in the necessary steps, i.e. preorganization of the template, binding of the monomer, initiation and termination of the polymerization, and the release of the formed raacromolecule from the template [28,29]. 

A novel method of preparing sulfur quadridentate ligands by a template type reaction has been reported (51, 52) Schrauzer et al. (52) isolated the free ligand by the sequence shown in reaction Scheme 1. However, it appears that this rather incomplete work on a very interesting system has not been pursued further.

Molecular simulation approaches were used to investigate the effectiveness of template type on TS-1 crystal morphology. Calculations indicated that docking of hexane diamine on surfaces of TS-1 crystal strongly changes crystal size and morphology. It is also found that hexane diamine can pack together with TP A in TS-1 structure to play an important template effect. Simulation results consistent well with experimental results. 

After the failure of the Texas Tower TT-4, an important step forward was taken in the 1960s when oil drilling and related installations of pipelines at depths up to 60 m off the Mississippi Delta were begun. These installations were designed based on a more fundamental understanding of sediment properties. Oil platforms off the Mississippi Delta are of the jacket or template type which are supported by a long open-ended steel pipe pile foundation. 

Today it is possible to synthesize calix[ ]arenes with 4 < n < 11However, this is not the case for calixpyrroles. Indeed, before recent work in this area by Sessler et al caIix[n]pyrroles with n>4 were (apparently) unknown. It was quickly found that such species were often byproducts of condensations leading to the generation of calix[4)pyrroles, and that they were difficult to isolate cleanly. Therefore a template-type. strategy was explored that might allow the synthesis and isolation of a higher-order calixpyrrole. To test this strategy, p-fcrf-butylcalix[4]arene tetramethyl ketone was condensed with pyrrole in the presence of methanesulfonic acid. This afforded the cylindrical calix[4]arene-calix[4]pyrrole pseudo dimer 18 in 32% yield. 

A key enabler often employed in the synthesis of zeolites is the template, often called an organic directing agent. The template type is frequently different for microporous zeolites, mesoporous materials, and macroporous materials. The template can be an individual molecule (e.g., quaternary salts or linear amines), in-situ formed micelle clusters, or preformed structures (e.g., polyethylene spheres).

All kinds of templates encompass interface to embed external software to integrate processes or types of representation which is not provided by the KBE modules of the CAD systems. Different template types can be combined with each other in a work package.

The most well-known and most advanced work to date in CP-based conductive textiles has been that of Kuhn and coworkers at the Milliken Research Corp., Spartanburg, SC, USA, a division of the Milliken textiles group [268, 269, 485, 883].
