Caudal peduncle—The area immediately posterior to the anal fin and extending to the base of the caudal or tail fin. 

Lunate—A term which refers to the shape of the tail fin. This form resembles the early phase of the moon (lunar). 

The fins of the ocean sunfish are distinctive there is a single long dorsal fin extending from the top and an equally long anal fin. The body ends abruptly with a low tail fin, and a rounded and wavy tail. The pointed-tailed sunfish (Mola lanceolata), has a tail drawn out into a point in the middle. The oblong-shaped sunfish Ranza-nia truncata) has a tail with a more rounded margin. 

The prime contractor is Raytheon Co, and it is powered by the Hercules Mark 58 Mod 0 solid proplnt rocket motor. The airframe is a slim cylindrical body with a pointed ogive nose. The first 14 m (46 ft) tall vertical tail fin, for the Boeing 777 airliner was one of the first major uses of RPs for primary structures in a USA commercial aircraft, and saves about 450 kg (992 lb) compared with a comparable metal fin. RPs will represent about 9% of the structural weight of the 777 - more than ten times the use of RPs in the 757 and 767 jets. Other structural composite parts include horizontal tail stabilizers, control surfaces, engine cowlings, landing gear and nose radome. Non-structural applications include the interior and systems ducting. 

It was possible at that point to estimate roughly the size and shape of a bomb that worked by fast implosion. The big gun bomb would be just under 2 feet in diameter and 17 feet long. An implosion bomb—a thick shell of high explosives stirrounding a thick shell of tamper surrounding a plutonium core surrounding an initiator—would be just under 5 feet in diameter and a little over 9 feet long a man-sized egg with tail fins.
