Suppress printing

NOMESSAGES. This card suppresses printing of all of the messages in SOLVE, and many of the messages in other routines, such as data read in by the ROWS control cards. [Pg.44]

Typing a semicolon at the end of an input line suppresses printing of the output of the MATLAB command. The semicolon should generally be used when defining large vectors or matrices (such as X = 1 0.01 3 ). It can also be used in any other situation where the MATLAB output need not be displayed. [Pg.47]

Exposure. Before the coated wafers are exposed, they undergo a mild bake (called a soft bake) in order to remove the solvent of the resist and to suppress mechanical stress. Once the wafers are soft baked, they are transferred to some type of illumination or exposure system. In the simplest case, an exposure system is a UV lamp illuminating the resist-coated wafer through a mask without any lenses in between.
