Suppliers supplies

Currently a supplier supplying customers in the USA and Europe needs to seek certification to QS-9000 and either VDA 6.1, AVSQ 94, or EAQF 94. Within Europe, certification to any one of the three European quality system requirements is, at least in theory, recognized by customers in the other countries. [Pg.18]

These are nominal air volumes, since actual values may be different depending on the installation and on whether the coating pan vendor or an independent supplier supplied the air handling equipment. [Pg.455]

The maintenance of computer systems becomes an essential issue, particularly when a new version of the supplier-supplied standard software is updated. A change control procedure must be implemented whereby changes in the software and computer hardware may be evaluated, approved, and installed. [Pg.124]

Suitable instrumentation is supplied by Thermoelectron, Perkin-Elmer, Vartan Associates, GBC Scientific and Shimazu. All of these suppliers supply equipment with autosamplers and mercury and hydride attachments. [Pg.30]

Three key groups of people who need to be involved in the process the suppliers, the R D work group and the customer. The suppliers include those people who provide the physical materials required for the job, and those who supply the services, for instance, information services to R D. The internal customers for work done in R D are the business unit, marketing or manufacturing, who are also its most important suppliers, supplying the targets for its work. Additionally, they will often supply a testing and evaluation service or a resource where this work can be done. Therefore, the process used in discussions with suppliers and customers can be considered as a cyclical one, as shown in Fig B15. [Pg.132]

The supplier-supplied installation tests should be performed and documented to ensure that the software is functioning correctly within the specific operating environment. In addition, a snite of snpplier-snpplied programs, test data, and resnlts can be a valuable aid to validation. Repetition of all these tests shonld be considered each time there is a change to the operating environment. [Pg.549]

Many of the methods of oxygen enrichment can be implemented with low capital cost for the benefit gained. For example, many furnaces have achieved a 15 to 20% production increase with the simple addition of two oxy/fuel burners. In this case, liquid oxygen is commonly used to supply the oxygen. Typically, the oxygen supplier supplies the storage tank and proper vaporization system for a monthly service charge. Therefore, the furnace operator only needs to supply a small concrete pad,... [Pg.234]

In cases where the Parr 4740 autoclave is used as the pressure containment device, multiple quartz reaction ampoules can be used in each run. These autoclaves have the advantage that up to eight quartz ampoules can be run at once. In this case, pressurization can be most conveniently accomplished by hooking up the autoclave directly to a new cylinder of inert gas. Most commercial gas suppliers supply gases in cylinders which are pressurized to 150-170 bar and the Parr autoclave can easily contain these pressures. Direct inlet adapters can be purchased from standard compressed gas dealers. Swage type and NPT connectors are suitable for these connections but any tubing must be medium walled copper or steel. [Pg.223]

What happens at the customer s facility if a supplier supplies a bad or defective part or material ... [Pg.138]

Thus, supplier competition to obtain the order results in lower buyer prices than in a monopolistic supplier supply chain. The lower wholesale price increases buyer profits and decreases supplier profits. [Pg.69]

Provide a clear description of facility water sources, supplier, supply mains, and corresponding meters for water entering the facility. [Pg.134]

B2) Integration of inbound transportation and production. This typically takes place in a two-stage supply chain involving suppliers and manufacturers. Suppliers supply raw materials or semi-finished products to manufacturers where final products are produced. [Pg.714]

Many suppliers of polyurethane systems provide them in the form of two components and advise on the actual weight of each component to be combined to form the polymer. This is the weight ratio, sometimes and confusingly called the index. Such a practice is to be decried as causing confusion with the chemical term isocyanate index . In many cases there is little difference in value between weight ratio and chemical equivalent weight ratio of index but it is important to understand the difference. Most suppliers supply an NCO-free system for one component and an NCO component (quoted in terms of the OH number) for the other side. [Pg.45]

In a three-level strategic alliance supply chain, there are three suppliers, two manufacturers and one customer, which is shown in Fig. 4.3. Each supplier supplies 4 different raw materials each manufacturer produces 3 different products. All the BOM relationships between raw materials and products are 1 1. Figure 4.4 shows product BOM of the first manufacturer. BOM of the second manufacturer is similar to that of the first manufacturer. Please note that according to the actual production environment, the product BOM of each manufacturer may be totally different. In this case, decision makers only need to set relationship of different product BOM to calculate with the model and algorithm of this book. [Pg.80]

Most suppliers supply their multiple component systems in prepacked forms, for example, in cartridges. No metering is necessary in this case. [Pg.961]
