Hydrogen steam

Regeneration of coked catalysts may be accomplished by gasification with oxygen, steam, hydrogen, or carbon dioxide ... [Pg.217]

Measurements have so far been made on mixtures of steam + hydrogen, nitrogen, argon, methane, carbon-dioxide, n-hexane, n-heptane, benzene and cyclohexane. The measurements cover the range 373 to 698 K at pressures from 0.1 MPa to saturation or 12.5 MPa. The only exception to this is steam + carbon dioxide for which the measurements extend up to 5.5 MPa. The accuracy of the measurements is around 2 percent. [Pg.436]

The stack electrolytes are scandia-stabilised zirconia, about 140 (im thick. The air-side electrodes (anode in the electrolysis mode) are a strontium-doped manganite. The electrodes are graded, with an inner layer of manganite/zirconia ( 13 pm) immediately adjacent to the electrolyte, a middle layer of pure manganite ( 18 pm), and an outer bond layer of cobaltite. The steam/hydrogen electrodes (cathode in the electrolysis mode) are also graded, with a nickel-zirconia cermet layer ( 13 pm) immediately adjacent to the electrolyte and a pure nickel outer layer ( 10 pm). [Pg.109]

A fixed compressive load is applied to the entire cell stack-up between the alumina cell holder and the HastX top plate by means of weights, as shown in the test stand overview, Figure 15. This load must simultaneously compress the cell against the mesh, flow field and foil on the steam/hydrogen side and against the seal around the outer edge of the cell. The outer edge of the cell rests on a window... [Pg.114]

The air and steam/hydrogen flow tubes will be fabricated from inconel. HastX was specified for the base plate, the frame and the weight plates. The spacer rods are specified as alumina in order to minimise heat conduction out of the bottom of the furnace. [Pg.116]

As mentioned before, we found no evidence of conductivity loss in the nickel bond layer or in the steam/hydrogen flow field. Moreover, the flow field was not corroded or discolored. [Pg.152]

The gasifying reactions involved occur between carbon or graphite and oxygen, steam, hydrogen or carbon dioxide. [Pg.233]
