Stairs lighting

Aye, madam, Margaret called. As I reached the foot of the stair, she caught at my hand and squeezed it fiercely. A Dieu, brother. Then she picked up her skirts and was gone. Elysabeth was counting the bundles of pitch-soaked arrows and the cressets that would be used to light them.

When you think about energy efficiency, what comes to mind You may think about taking the stairs instead of the elevator, choosing to drive a small car instead of a sport utility vehicle, or turning off lights when you are not using them. What, however, does efficiency really mean How do you quantify it ...

Prior to leaving the lobby for fire-suppression activities, all members will be wearing full personal protective equipment including SCBA, and will have cylinder valves opened. In addition, each person will have a personal light along with hand tools prior to entering the stair tower for suppression operations.

As this vision continued, I saw a spirit appear at the top of the stairs. It was humanlike in its presence, but in its form was a glowing orb of white light. It seemed to bridge the gap between the past of the vision and current time. It moved down the staircase and hovered midway for the duration of the vision. It remained a nonintrusive presence that emanated a calm, potent truth of Beingness, observing and accepting the conflict that played out below. 

With light steps, I went down the stairs that had caused me so much anguish, and a few moments later I was in my room, in full reality the last vapors raised by the hashish had vanished. (Solomon, 1966, p. 135)... 

At the top of the stairs, a light is burning in the large master bedroom on the bedside table next to a bottle of whiskey and a tumbler the bed is unmade. An informal wedding portrait of Sheila and Bill is on the nightstand. A rifle rests in the corner of the room. 

It symbolises the fact that they are now better protected. To the third temple with its light-blue stairs go those to be ordained as sublime masters, and they come down having been approved as worthy and respected masters of the esoteric sciences. 

The portion of the periodic table that contains the metallic elements is shown here in gray, and the portion that contains the nonmetallic elements is shown in light blue. The stair-step line that starts between B and Al on the periodic table and descends between Al and Si, Si and Ge, and so on separates the metallic elements from the nonmetallic elements. The metals are below and to the left of this line, and the nonmetals are above and to the right of it. Most of the elements that have two sides of their box forming part of the stair-step line are metalloids. Aluminum is usually considered a metal.
