We also found similarities in visuahzation spatial skills between male and female engineering students (Charyton et al. 2011), unlike past studies indicating that males tended to perform better than females (Guay 1978 Kinsey et al. 2007). We found that male and female engineering smdents had similar levels of visualization spatial skills that were equivalent for engineering design abilities. 

Consistent temporal and spatial skill execution in sports has commonly been linked to expert performers. However, results of this study indicated that the arm swing temporal characteristics and variability were not determinants of playing level nor did it relate to bowling performance. Furthermore, the foot slide temporal data showed that the elite bowlers were less consistent than the semi-elite bowlers. Overall, it is concluded that in the final delivery phase of tenpin bowling, a more consistent execution time did not relate to higher playing level or better bowling performance. 

The detectability of critical defects with CT depends on the final image quality and the skill of the operator, see figure 2. The basic concepts of image quality are resolution, contrast, and noise. Image quality are generally described by the signal-to-noise ratio SNR), the modulation transfer function (MTF) and the noise power spectrum (NFS). SNR is the quotient of a signal and its variance, MTF describes the contrast as a function of spatial frequency and NFS in turn describes the noise power at various spatial frequencies [1, 3].

For the Ebro Basin, despite some biases, the studies have found that the 11 RCMs (Table 1) are able to reproduce the observed annual bimodal distribution of precipitation and the annual temperature cycle (Fig. 4a and d), although they have variable skill in reproducing the spatial distribution and magnitude of monthly means. The studies highlighted above have assessed model skill on a regional scale by averaging RCM results over an entire region and comparing them to areally averaged monthly observations (CRU). However, RCMs show considerable spatial variability in skill within individual experiments with adjacent grid-cells at times... 

Many spatial relations questions are based on maps. Map-reading skills are essential to the work of a firefighter. Firefighters are expected to be able to figure out the quickest route to the scene of an emergency without hesitation. They are frequently stopped by lost motorists trying to find their way. Pedestrians often come into the firehouse to ask directions. 

The exam will test you in six areas memory and observation, reading text, verbal expression, spatial relations, judgment, and following procedures. Though your actual exam is likely to use different categories for some of these questions, the skills tested here are similar to those tested on many firefighter exams.
