A total of 54, one-day-old male broiler chicks (Ross x Ross 308) were randomly allocated into three treatments with 18 birds per group replicated 3 times. The birds were fed ad libitum with a standard diet for broiler chicken and with free access to drinking water containing 0, 10 and 25 ppm of hydrocolloidal nanopartieles of silver (nano-Ag) offered for four weeks. Four balance experiments were carried out at 7-14,15-21,22-28 and 29-35 days of age to determine nitrogen and energy balances.
