As can be seen in Figure 5-17, some search fields (e.g., POW [= Power]) do not need any input in the search mask this means that all entries with any content of those Helds are retrieved. However, other fields always demand an input. In case the input is omitted (for example for the decadic logarithm of the partition coefficient), a corresponding error message results. Since the PCB are more soluble in the organic phase, the input of that Field is restricted to positive values. [Pg.251]

Consult your WINDOWS 98 manual and study the section for finding something on your computer. Click the Start button and then point to Find. Click Files or Folders... and then click the Named box. Then type the name of the file or directory you want to find. As an example enter <. The cyclic voltammogram of complex 3 B"-Ni shows two quasi-reversible Ni(0)/(I) and Ni(I)/(II) redox waves at —2.5 V and —I.IV vs. Fc/Fc, respectively. Neither of the two oxidized complexes was isolable, most likely due to the masking of the low-valent nickel(O) center by the three ter -butyl substituents on the carbene ligand. Reduction of the sodium chloride level can result in taste problems and flavour shifts. There are several approaches to maintain salt taste. Most often, potassium chloride is used, because it shows the most prominent salty taste of those applicable inorganic salts. Lithium chloride is the most salty salt but cannot be used for toxicological reasons. Most consumers, however, complain about the bitter, chalky taste of KCl-containing formulations. Development of sodium-reduced products using mineral salts is a challenge and the whole product formula has often to be adapted [25]. Therefore, the main focus of the research was the search for masking compounds or technologies to cover the bad taste of KCl, e.g. phenolic acids and derivatives [26] and lactisol [27]. [Pg.468]
